Spend 1to2 days exploring the old town area. Plenty to see and a wide choice of restaurants. The kazimierz area also has good restaurants. Entering the castle grounds is free but get there early to buy the limited tickets to each set of rooms . You are allocated a set time for each but this prevents overcrowding. Not to be... More

The Castle and the main square are fantastic, but also walking in the little old streets of the old town, without traffic and noise, also during the night, is a fantastic experience.

Lovely and lively, the meeting place for everyone. Filled with activity in a beatiful mediaval square. Loads of restaurants, pubs and cafes - spoilt for choice.

This lovely square is a really buzzy place, especially in the evening. Plenty of bars and restaurants (good prices too). Lots of churches (St Marys is worth visiting) Lots of street artists just a fun place to be on a sunny evening. Too many pigeons (people actually feed them)

It is necessary to see. Historical architecture, around spacious square, decorated horse carriage, good possibilities for shopping and relaxation in many cafetaries and restaurants. The spirit is medieval, but present is inconspicuously in the background.
