Such a beautiful city. We did a walking tour which took in the Jewish quarter, the palace and main square. There is plenty to do to keep you busy, regardless of your tastes and preferences. There are horse drawn carriages to make your trip really special but there are also many free walking tours.

The historic centre of Cracow is really fantastic. From the big square to the castel you find many historical buildings from many different time periods. It's an open air museum actually and easy to walk.

There is lots of history here, both old history and more recent (and more sobering, i.e. WWII) history.

The actual square had nice architecture and lots of restaurants all round it. However they were obviously catering for tourists and it is far better to go to the Jewish Quarter to eat. Also you get pestered to take either a horse and carriage ride (expensive) or to book a tour. it was disappointing and I much preferred the square... More

This square offers an absolutely amazing opportunity to enjoy the medieval scene of Krakow. There are a lot of shops, restaurants, bars, hotels and also very important historical buildings which fit the landscape harmonically. Definitely the best place in the beautiful Krakow !

A fabulous place with lots going on, day or night. Easily while away a few hours in the restaurants watching the world go by.

The old center is autentic, as it has not been bombed during the war, and it is obviously the main attraction of this beautiful city. I strongly recommend that you take your time for a thorough stroll throughout.
