This medieval town center square is considered the oldest of its kind in Europe. Abound by churches, watch tower, cobblestone streets, markets, open square, shops, eateries, castles (nearby), museums, horse buggy rides, art and craft, old houses and everything in-between. I could easily sit at an outdoor restaurant and watch life go by. Very interesting place and very busy with... More

Try to imagine what it was like in mediavel times based of the lay out of the huge square and the buildings surrounding it. Never come across so many restaurants and bars. The square is spotless, no litter anywhere, very busy day and night but pedestrianised. Loads of shops, all sorts of different live music and entertainment. Lovely

Nice sights, beautiful day and night. You can eat and buy good things with not very much money. In some places in the Market square you can drink without ordering something to eat.

The main centre and attraction of the town. Several museums, cathedral in the vicinity or parameter. Plenty of eating places and street performers to spend relaxing time. Limited sitting place unless you sit down for drinks or eating.

Not counting the big sites the general architecture is beautiful to look at, and it's all in use. No sad old Soviet era concrete to depress you in the centre. As far as the people go...I got a little lost and asked a gentleman for directions, he was one of few people that didn't speak English so he instead walked... More

Krakow has a beautiful and large Medieval Market Square with cobblestone streets and the Cloth Hall with lots of little shops selling local goods. In Medieval Times the Cloth Hall was an area of commerce and trade. St Mary's Basilica has a bugler playing every hour, reminding the people of a former battle. It is a lovely place to just... More

The centre of Krakow is wonderful. Loved this city more than Berlin. Leave plenty of time to browse as there is a lot to see. We spent about 6 hours here. There is a good choice of eateries also
