Just got back from four days in Krakow (Cracow) (Cracovia) brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. Simply dozens of restaurants, bars and historic buildings to keep any visitor happy. Very cheap too. Will be back again asap.

The Old Town oozes with old world charm, with 15th century or earlier buildings that are all beautifully maintained. The square is ringed with cafes and shops, which adds to the welcoming ambience of the place.

Lots of travelers overlook Krakow, but it has some of the nicest architecture and "vibe" or any city in Europe

So much to see in the historic centre. St Mary's Basilica, the square, the cloth hall, restaurants etc. An amazing square with so much going on all around you.

Wandering around and finding passageways that link up with other streets, finding plaques to commemorate resistance heroes done to death by eastern allies (on the wall of the Amadeus Hotel in Mikolajska Street, seeing where the 18th century national hero Kosciuszko stayed (in a building along from Wedel), or seeing the plaque on the ground (outside the northern entrance of... Krakow airport is undergoing expansion to cope with the increased tourism and will be complete by the end of 2015. The train link from the airport to the city has been... More

Beautiful place to visit, especially at night when its all lit up. Restaurants can be very busy in this area so probably best to make reservations if your planning to eat while there

Krakow has a very nice old part. There are a lot of small shops and restaurants. We were lucky to have excellent weather. We combined the visit of the castle with the visit of the old part of Krakow as they are just next to each other. It’s as well possible to go out in the old town as there... More
