A stroll around the main square is a must if you visit Cracow. The architecture is just what you would imagine, but needs to be seen to appreciate the scale. Lots of things to do, places to eat, or just sit and stare. Have a look.

Really enjoyed the historical center of Krakow, the mixture of architecture is refreshing from all other European cities. has a nice relaxing fell about it, and with its huge square and very wide streets, it never feels overcrowded.

Great destination for a city break. Food was fantastic, atmosphere of main city square was beautiful. Did a little bus tour to get a total feel of the city.

We walked around this enjoying the views and it was very pleasant. We could see free walking tours but it was already mid-afternoon so passed on this. Lots of nice shops, artists selling their wares. Very pleasant. Reminded me a bit of Venezia and the pigeon square? - well at least that's what I call it.

I loved Poland. I loved Krakow. And I loved Zakopane. Poland makes me feel in peace. The old city of Krakow is a wonderful remaining from the past.

when in Krakow make sure you see Rynek Glowny. Historic Centre is compact, pretty much walking distance, even to the castle and Jewish quarter - cca 20min. The atmosphere of the old town is unique. I recommend taking a fancy horse taxi tour around the old town, as it saves you some time and gives a better perspective about the... More
