My sister had tour guide Peter. Such a great tour and a good time. The first shot of vodka was a little hard, but the second went down easier, followed by pickles. We learned a lot about all aspects of Polish life.

Travelling in a red Trabant car, with a knowledgeable guide who was born in Nowa Huta was great! He knew & obviously loved the area, gave us a lot of information & was able to answer our questions about the area & Poland too, & generally transported us, literally & figuratively, back to the comminist days when the town was...

I'm interested in 20th century history and so booking the Deluxe Communism Tour seemed like a no-brainer. From hearing the sound of the Trabant arriving at my hotel, right through Nowa Huta, the "milk bar" lunch and the museum, my guide was superb company, incredibly knowledgeable and the whole morning was both educational and great fun. I enjoyed it so...

We decided to book this trip late on Sunday evening. After a quick text to the company, they had arranged our pick up from our hotel on Tuesday at 9am.
Our 'limousine' for the day was a beige coloured Trabant! We heard it before we saw it!
After we had finished laughing, our guide for the morning (Maciej) introduced himself....

We gained a lot from our Crazy Guides tour in the Trabants, not the most luxurious of vehicles but a wonderful overall experience. The guides were knowledgeable and entertaining. Although we were given a lot of information on the Communist era, and the chance to ask numerous questions, the main impact of the trip is that you come away feeling...

I took the tour with my boyfriend because we heard a lot about this company and its crazy tours. We were a bit dissapointed as we thought we would learn more about Kraków in general (information about Nowa Huta and Communism in Kraków were good). Though we saw great places in the city to eat, visit etc., we were not...

Imaginative, informed and great fun. Crazy Guides might drive you round in an old Trabant but our Communism Deluxe tour was Formula One. Well done to the team, this was one of the highlights of our trip to Krakow. See the demise of the Proles and the rise of the Poles in post-war Eastern Europe. You won't be disappointed.

Crazy Guides tours. Communism Tour Nowa Huta (Krakow)
The little Trabant arrived outside our hotel at the agreed time. We poured ourselves into it and our enthusiastic guide took us to the Nowa Huta district.
We did the Communism Deluxe Tour. The guides took us to a small 'commie' restaurant for liquid refreshments and gave us a talk through the...
