Auschwitz is definitely something that needs to be seen to appreciate the scale of the tragedy that occurred. The only real negative I found was that there were so many tourists that it did kind of take away some of the solemnity of the place. More

A guided tour was included in the admission fee, The museum guides are very knowledgable and many speak several languages. Visitors should be prepared to be deeply emotionally affected by Auschwitz but it is still not to be missed. Anyone interested in this area of the history of the 20th century should definitely go there. More

sense of history, atmospheric, thought provoking, excellent guide with ear phones and audio very informative and relevant. The silence of the location was mirrored by the incessant gently falling snow which created an eerie sense of atmosphere especially in Berkinau where we watched tourists trudge along the railway platform in heavy snow just like the poor unfortunate victims of the... It is really amazing and awful all the different situations which happened there. It is not a nice visit but is a visit which you have to do if you are near because it is the testimony of one of the worst human being behavior within XX century. More

The place is very traumatic, but at the same time very important, historical evidence that there is still evil on this planet. More

If you visit this museum, be prepared to have shivering not only while visiting. It is so terrible to see those maney glasses in the windows, or the hair, or the shoes, that is what is left after people who have not done it to survive. Going from house to house you see also pictures by topics, like women, or... More

I was unsure whether I wanted to go on this trip as thought it would be upsetting but I now think everyone should experience it as a warning to what humanity is capable of. The tour was very well done, sensitive and moving mainly down to the guide who was excellent. The place speaks for itself. It isn't just what... More

Sympathetic but not romanticized look at Jewish life in the town of Oswiecim before the Holocaust. More

It is a great place with great people and a noble mission. Everyone who takes part in workshop and education programs receives comprehensive education. One must pay a visit to the Jewish Center not only to enrich their knowledge on the Jewish community that flourished in Oświecim, but also to start preserving the town as a place where the Jews...
