It is a very nice but sad place to visit- both my grandad and great grandad are buried there. It is an enourmous place, with a lot of graves but is very well kept and not as sad or scary as other cemetries. It is very quiet and calm and the park it is in is very beautiful with fountains... More

For someone who is here first time, it might seem as you have seen the whole cementery through one simple visit - but you didn't. If you have a loong time on spare in Szczecin - then you can give it a chance, but then I would suggest you to visit this place on All Saints' Day (especially in the... More

I love that it was calm and well kept and not at all morbid to visit. Gave us a brush up on historys tragedies

After a bit of a long walk from the town centre (with hindsight, we probably should have taken a taxi or tram!), we had a good look round the cemetery. It was more like a park, with a couple of lovely pools with fountains and a magnificent chapel of rest. You should low a decent amount of time to look... More

Thought this is cemetery you should visit this place for sure. This is probably one of the most beautiful cemetaries in the world and a walk here is relaxing and enjoyable.

One of the most amazing places I've ever been. Probably, like me, you would not think to visit a cemetery..... I came upon it incidentally myself. However, The plant life is fantastic! Such trees! It's more like a vast park, with an ornamental lake, and fountains, and sculptures. There is an atmosphere of peace and beauty. See it! Be moved... More

Szcezcin's really a nice city...especially the mid-part. Have been to Central Cemetery today - great location! All around Szcezcin you can find villages and landscapes as we know it from Poland..

It is not really happy place to visit when you have someone there. In the other hand it has a lot of to offer. You can visit a graves of unnamed soldiers and underground fighters and give them your respect.

One of the largest cemeteries in Europe dating back to 1901 when it was established. A tranquil location with a huge variety of plant and wild life. Worth a look during a quiet walk.

It is the biggest cemetery in Poland and 3rd the biggest in Europe. It is very unique cemetary for many reasons: 1. it looks more like park than cemetary, and it is very extraordinary for Polish cemeteries. 2) archtecture of all chapels and monuments which are there 3) the spirit of the place. You can go there with even with... More
