The museum was on the small side but very interesting, particularly the tin coffins on display. There were English translations of key displays which was helpful. The entry fee was pretty low so I was quite happy with the price paid. There was a lovely cafe in a courtyard near the Tourist Information Centre that we went to a couple... More

it was really nice visit, even though it was unpleasant to walk around due to the back pain I woke up with after staying at that horrible hotel.

A beautiful building well worth a visit. A lovely- but very hard to find cafe is within the courtyard. It is really hidden away without any signage. Try to find it because it is well worth it.

Pomeranian Dukes' Castle is a magical place. Apart from the entire history associated with the place, I always felt special and I had the impression that time has stopped. Almost every day in the summer time there are performances for children, women presentations and shows by local bands. Standing in the courtyard of the castle I like to look up... More

Big castle in the middle of town, with only some parts open for tourists. You buy your tickets in the tourist information located in the small courtyard. Then you can go on top of the tower with good views (that's one of at least three viewing towers in Szczecin town center, all with rather similar views). Your ticket gets you... More

At the beginning it was a hut on the mountain top. Over time, masonry, and later extended by successive Griffin. This is our story. From my knowledge only during the last big overhaul dorobiono staircases. It is a pity. It had to be beautiful and without them. Castle has two courtyards. Recently the main courtyard was unavailable because it was... More

At the time of visiting the site was being refurbished so not everything was open. I was able to see the small museum (all in Polish) which had some artefacts from the site, and climb the "scenic" tower for some stunning views over the city

When we went, there was a loud band playing in the courtyard (playing American music, ackk...) so we didn't stay long, but we enjoyed the viewing tower and would recommend it. It was about 1euro / person and the kids enjoyed both the climb to the top and the view. We didn't go to anywhere else in the castle so... More

I thought my visit to Stettin after such a long time, would be very emotional. But I was surprised how nice it was. First of all the Radisson SAS Hotel was real nice, especially the food, it was top notch. Breakfast was there for every nationality. Our tour guide Anna, a very experienced lady, made us very welcome and was impressive... More
