It is impossible to think about visiting Gdansk without walking this street. This is where everything is at. The main pedestrian street stretches from the river to the Amber museum and is lined with beautiful buildings, many museums, souvenir shops, cosy little cafés and much more. The highlights of the street are the town hall with its bell tower and... More

The heart of Old Town. I love the main Street (Dluga) and the bridge to the emerging area across the canal. Whether you want a club, a restaurant, a bar or a simple cafe you will find it on Dluga! Best, busiest time to visit is in August.

We happened upon this street quite often during our city explorations. But the street comes alive at night with all the buildings surrounding it lighting up. Great restaurants either side and just take a turn if you wanna see a bunch of other attractions. Walk to the end to see the river and crane.

Very nice street, an array of lovely buildings. Eating places on this street tend to be pricier than those elsewhere in the old town which is easily navigated and very compact.
