Nice fountain

The fountain is nice to look at, especially at night when it is lighted up. A lot of nice bars around.

we were told we had to go and see the Neptune Fountain as it is one of the most famous sights in Gdansk. Beautifully crafted fountain in the centre of the old town, surrounded by amazing buildings and architecture. Must see!

Neptun is one of very few things in the Old Town hat survived the massive destruction during the World War 2. The legend says that every 100 years the water in the fountain changes into vodka ;)

It's a symbol but quite boring without water and sourrounded by fences...what it is breath taking is the sourroundings, buildings and the streets and the special spirit of Gdansk

Legend tells us that Neptune angry at people who throw coins into the fountain , struck with great force trident in water and smashed monets into tiny gold flakes , which are immersed in the herbal liqueur Goldwasser .

Brilliant landmark absolutely exquisite. It was also used as a useful meeting point in the centre of the old town as well.

The Neptune fountain is located to the Fountain of Four River and will always be compared. The statues of Neptune surrounded by sea nymphs are an interest point but not up to the grandeur of its neighbour.
