Since it is located in the middle of the old town, most tourists will find the fountain anyway. Not much there, but it is a landmark of the old city. It definitely doesn't look as nice as it could because of all the construction in the surrounding area. Stop by, take some photos and ten get back to checking out... More

About halfway down the Dluga Targ is Nelson's Fountain. One of the most historic and photographed areas in the city. Was dismantled and saved from the war and now replaced in all its glory. Always a big crowd around it so come early for daybreak light or late to get the statue in sunset to get Neptune to your self... More

The Neptune's Fountain is the the heart of old town, so it is a very good point to meet with other people. From this point you will see some attractions od old town.

Certain angles gave a great picture, but one building was under construction so the camera position was important. At the time we visited, the presidents of Germany and Poland were speaking and dining at a restaurant next to the fountain. So be prepared.

This is a sign of beauty, you can't have a town Centre without a Fountain, and they have really done it, by day it's a must have for my photo album and by night it's lit up and makes for a phenomenal sight, love this place, love this country and if the old boy who does the caricature pictures is... It appears as though this is THE monument of Gdansk. Easily located along Ul Darga it is not hard to find and is perfectly placed in the middle of this long street. The fountain itself is nothing exceptional although still beautiful and worth a visit.

Nothing really special, but I guess every single tourist there takes at least one photo of it. I like more the fountain located next to Rossmann's shop just a short walk away from this one. The market place on the other hand is nice, but many of the restaurants are beyond average.

The fountain itself is lovely but the surrounding old town square is the real attraction. Colorful house fronts in the Dutch style. I was pleasantly surprised at the beauty downtown Gdansk holds

This fountain is no where near as impressive as other European fountains, but since it's right on the main square it's worth a quick stop for a photo or two. It is a well know landmark in the city and was very crowded on the summer's day we visited. There are many interesting historical sites in the area so you... More
