Old time with TONS of history. Walking along these small alleys will give you a thought of who could've walked here few centuries ago. There is really good bakery/cafeteria in Gdansk "Sowa" meaning an Owl. Really yummy cakes and treats. Must drop in for a visit:)

Great city with great old town. It's not so long but the architecture, atmosphere Gdansk is amazing . There is few good clubs all the way on back streets. Check Pijalnia!

Very beautiful restored buildings, easy on the eye and having none of the garish commercialism of similar cities in the world. There are streets to explore which still hold the essence of the place - take a look before it is "tarted up" for tourists......

beautiful, but too cold to travel during March, it was freezing. There are many bars and restaurants there, food are delicious and not expensive, You will see amber shops everywhere because amber is one of the famous gifts and art pieces for tourists.

The Old Town is like a jewel box, build up again after the war in a very impressive way. But it seems a bit artificial, and is very close to being a tourist trap. You will mostly find restaurants, coffee shops and souvenir shops here, and off course also museums. Still the Old Town is well worth a visit. But... More

It was very nice to stroll riverbanks of Motlawa and Dlugi Targ/Old town in the evening. There were not too many people and monuments/churches and buildings were nicely lit so I made a lot of photos. Highly recommended. Start your walk at Targ Rybny, go upriver till the first bridge, turn right to Dlugi targ and browse around until you... More

The Old Town in Gdansk is full of interesting buildings, bars and places to eat. There are always people trying to get you into the restaurant the repricent, but they are not pushy and only trying to explain the food and the choice of food is vast. There is a great choice of cultural attractions to see and a great... More
