Considering the history of Gdansk, through all its trials and tribulations, the current result is a wonderful reflection of the rich history of the old town. You MUST keep looking up, that's where the most amazing sights are to be seen

The wide selections of beer gardens and wonderful restaurants make this among my favorite trips which we make quite often. We spend a lot of time in Gdansk because if you enjoy good beer and good food you will never get bored.

Beautiful and vivid place in the heart of the city... The first spot to see and be there! You can find the great architecture, small cafes and restaurants, beer places and small stores with amber ornaments, decoration, jewelry. You can take a boat from the pier there and have an amazing tour and see the city from the water perspective.

Old Town in Gdansk has some of the most beautiful 17th century style buildings in Poland. I would recommend a walk during the day and night time to view the building facades and the many sculptures and murals. It is a touristy area so you may want to check out the side streets for more shopping and restaurant options, but... More

The people, museums and architecture. The only problem was church bells going off at 07.00hr. The bars were interesting and fun. Especially the Irish cellar bar!

So clean!! And people so friendly! Very few "normal" shops, but lots of souvenir shops. The old town is a great place to take lots of photos, and each house has an own design. Just beautiful!

Here is a lot to see and good food awaiting you. Note that a lot of Gdansk is rebuilt after WWII, so it's done with great precision.
