When we visited St. Mary it was under construction, so that might have been part of the problem. We found the church to be well... big and boring. Compared to St. Mary's church in Krakow, which we enjoyed visiting very much, the church in Gdansk seemed plain looking and boring. Not much information and no tours were available at the... more

during our stay in GDANSK we visited ST MARYS CHURCH the largest brick built church in the world We have seen many finer churches in our travels but none so huge and the white washed walls made it look awesome .
