It is not my favorite part of Poland, I must say (and I am Polish myself). The nature around Krynica is amazing, and there is something really interesting in having the sea and the Vistula lagoon on the other, separated by a tiny piece of land. BUT the town/village is not pretty at all. The "center" is divided by a... More

Took the 112 bus from Gdansk across the Martwa Wisla on the floating bridge to Sobieszowo island, then took the ferry across the Przekup Wisly. From the ferry it was a shortish walk to the narrow gauge railway from Prawy Brzeg Wisly to Sztutno (65 mins) Here I took a bus expecting it to go to Krynica but it carried... More

We were in Gdansk at the end of April - beginning of May. Were looking forward to a trip to Krynica Morska but there was only one bus which went at 15.15. We were told that the regular bus service started some time in June.

We met family in Poland and they chose places for us to see. This seaside resort was at the top of list. It was a beautiful place, clean and accessible. There was plenty of parking and restaurants.

It takes a long time on a road through the wood before you arrive at Krynica Morska. At the North side going to the resort you know the Baltic Sea is there but you can't see it. At the South side you get a nice glimpse once in a while of the salt lake. It really is for tourists who... More

Krynica Morska is the main tourist destination on the Vistula Split. It is a cozy, little town and around it there are a lot of tourist attractions for everyone, including a mini-zoo, an old fashioned tourist train, a lighthouse, wild boars walking in the streets (if you are lucky you can spot them sometimes, and they are not afraid of...
