Very nice historic preview. The only thing I was missing is some person I may ask and discuss historical question, in case of complicated Czech and Moravian history.

There are often very interesting and at other times also less interesting exhibitions - check the web or other info sources when in Brno or before planning a trip and then decide.

I have been to the castle many times and there have been a lot of really nice exhibitions (Japanese samurai swords, history of handbags, etc). I can highly recommend going to the exhibitions, but you should check in advance several things, 1) which exhibitions are there, 2) if you really need the ticket to the castle itself and 3) if... I went today, ordered a coffee for 28, paid with 50, got 12 returned instead of 22 but realised only on my way downhill. He gave himself a 30% "tip", despite the... More

This is a history of the town but specially the prison. Interesting but I think children would struggle and it really is expensive , which showed by how few visitors there were.

There is a green hill in the middle of the town and a fortress on the top. You can easily go back for centuries, you can find traces of Napoleon, baron Trenk, Babinsky - the famous robber and murder,, heroes of Italian revolution, cataacombs, singing bells. Allow yourself be surprised!

BRNO, TOWN TEEMING FORMER WONDERS by Zoran Slavic On the second day in Brno, we visited a several historical monument. We were in the Labyrinth under Vegetable Market.
