Lovely villa in a peaceful part of town. We enjoyed the walk there, spotting interseting architceture as we went. The villa itself is not spectacular like Villa Tugendhat, but well worth visiting

The Jurkovic Villa is situated in a medium-sized and well-kept garden in the suburbs of Brno. This is the villa of Dusan Jurkovic, who was a very famous architect and he is quite famous due to his specific style! I have enjoyed his mixture of traditional Czech and English housing with a number of improvements not seen at the time in the city. This villa is now open for public and is a part of Moravian gallery so you have a chance to learn more about Dusan Jurkovic who designed this beautiful house for his own family but also about architecture generally. Although it is not in the centre of the town, the location is nice.
