There is not much to do in Telc, so it is a good stopover on your trip somewhere. Visit the square and the castle, have a coffee and cake, but do not plan too much time in this pretty little town. We got a bit bored.

When we visited the Historic Centre a while back we found it lovely with the cobbled road a beautiful architecture and facade of same of the old buildings, water well were you can pump fresh water and the Plague Column and fountain in the square. Same nice cafes and souvenir shops

This place reminded me of the "Painted Ladies" in San Francisco, beautifully colorful houses that are all of the same period. We enjoyed a wonderful evening here having a good local dinner and stroll across the cobble stone plaza.

I visited it after seeing in my guide that it was Unesco listed and it was not a deception at all. It is a lovely village, with a group of beautiful houses surrounding the main square. Each house is worthy of a photo (or almost). I loved it.

Nice for just a brief stop if it is on your way but not worth a special trip there- mostly a walk around the square to see the historic buildings and some pretty scenery/ponds just outside the square, maybe have a meal (not many options), then move on.

The centre of this historic city is well worth visiting . The square is cobbled and has many interesting buildings fine examples of 18th and 19 th century architecture. The central area has nice coffee shops and restaurants in which one can relax and enjoy the local scene.

Telc is a small town surrounded by lakes to defend the town, the central square of 500 year old houses is well worth seeing with the castle at one end and a church at the other and cafes and shops inbetween, we were lucky on the day we were there a balloon festival was taking place with a balloon lauching... The town square is very impressive, picturesque and alluring. It is recommended to take a stroll after dark to capture the full effect.
