My Favourite part of Prague

This place is so different to the touristy centre of Prague, a proper local kind of place where you dont pay silly prices for food or drink.

This area is a bit run down looking but no worse than many other areas of similar sized cities. There is a good buzz to the place and loads of great bars an resturaunts where you can eat and drink at prices a great deal cheaper than the city center

This is the largest bronze statue in Europe and is immense be impressive. It is a fun walk from downtown and well worth the visit, there is just not much to see other than the statue.

I love this area of the city,it is not the most dramatic architecture wise but a good fun place to be. I do love the beer garden in Riegrovy sady and it is a favourite place to enjoy a outdoor beer and watch sport on their giant screen.Loads of great bars in the area in particular the Tavern for great... Zizkov is a great place to stay, at least to visit! If u have ever visited SoHo in NYC, so this is Zizkov in Prague. Art and architecture met there. People are very kind and helpful. There are 2 sides of Zizkov, the district is very well connected with public transport so you can reach old town in 10 minutes... More

I found this area rather boring: there's not much going on, views are nice but mostly blocked by some not so nice buildings. It might be nice to live there, but it's not a tourist attraction.

This crazy sci-fi looking tower is a definite must for a visit. You can enjoy the views from the higher, viewing pod and then go down to the lower one for a meal or a drink while you continue to enjoy the view. We loved the swinging chairs. It's not as far as it looks. It's only a short tram... More

I stayed with a friend who lived there, and it was wonderful. I would leave everyone else to sleep in in the mornings and wander around taking pictures and drinking coffee with stupidly wonderful amounts of whipped cream on top; I need to go back.

Žižkov district is notoriously the hippest and coolest Prague district with lots of bars, coffee houses, restaurants, cool vintage shops, local pubs, grow stores and place for lots of cultural and sightseeing attractions. Highly recommended for traditional local cuisine (and local prices) and night life.

Zizkov is very famous quarters for its unique location. It is very hard to find a levelled place around as it is spread on slopes of few hills. There are places that quite interesting and worth of visit like the Vitkov monument with Jan Zizka’s statue and the mausoleum there, but nowadays Zizkov is considered more like a poor area... More
