We arranged to have Sylvie take us in a private tour of the Jewish Quarter of Prague. It was an excellent decision. She is a very knowledgeable woman who provided a tour that had aspects of a seminar. She was entertaining, yet serious, providing sufficient information without getting into minute details. This is a 'Must Do', and having her do... More

It is difficult to call a visit to a concentration camp/labor camp/transit camp (Terezen was all of the above) the "highlight" of our ten day trip to Vienna, Prague and Berlin, but the visit was unforgettable. Although the experience by its very nature was depressing, the tour was outstanding. The memorial exhibits were extremely well done. Helena was extremely knowledgeable... More

We took a private 6 hour tour for 4. We were met at our hotel by Helena and our driver in a very comfortable van. Helena prepared us as we drove. She tried to organize our tours to survive the press of large groups everywhere which she did very well. We had detailed tours of the small fortress and the... More

We booked Prague's Jewish Quarter 3 hour walking tour through this group. You need to book the tour at least a day in advance. We met our guide, Matthew, outside the Hotel Intercontinental. He was very nice and knowledgeable. He began the tour by telling us the Jewish history of the area. The tour included visiting three synagogues, each very... More

This was my second time to Theresienstadt with Wittman tours. The first time was 3 years ago and was so good I used them again this time. In fact the tour was much better this time. Our guide, Helena, was very knowledgeable and her tour was engaging and thought provoking. She took us to places we had not seen on... More

It is hard to say we enjoyed this tremendously informative tour with Helena (or Helen) to Terezin. Sobering day, indeed. Our guide clearly knew her history and peppered her nearly 6 hrs of continuous presentation with recollections from survivors whom she knew or interviewed. Her English is very good though not excellent. The trip could benefit from being a bit... More

We recently had two tours - the Jewish Quarter and Terezin. Each of our guides Matthew and Martina were superb. Their in-depth knowledge of events, the areas history and significance as well as anecdotal information made for a most interesting and informative tour. They were very friendly, took the time to answer every question asked. And their English quite good.... More

Our first tour to Terezin was great and deserves 4 stars. Our guide Martina was great. Her English was perfect and she knew so much. She answered all of our questions about Jewish history as well as the Communist era. The six hours went by so quickly. Two days after we went on the tour of the Jewish quarter with... More

A group of 15 - hmm, what's this going to be like? Well Martina was superb. Her friendliness, knowledge and ability to keep 15 people together was wonderful! I've been on a Jewish Quarter walking tour of Prague a few years back but this tour was far far better. For one thing, it was quite organized. Yes, could you do... More

Our guide Matthew did a great job. He was patient and thorough and made our tour informative and enjoyable. At three hours it was maybe just a bit too long but it was also really cold out and we were pretty frozen! I definitely recommend them for a good grounding in the Jewish sites in Prague.
