I completed the three hour tour of the Jewish Quarter today with our tour guide Matthew. I give Matthew a big thumbs up for his knowledge and delivery. I came away knowing a lot more than I did going in. My only issue was that it probably was about an hour longer than our group (I was solo, but we... More

We took a 3 day trip to Prague after visiting our children and grandchildren in London. We are usually self guided tourists investigating places on our own after reading about them and using guide books, but we decided to take the Wittmann Tour of the Jewish Quarter led by a wonderful young man, Matthew. Not only did he bring us... More

My daughter scheduled our Terezin tour and we needed to change it 2 times--they were more than accommodating and very friendly. I was so pleasantly surprised that the tour included only 7 people and the most wonderful, knowledge and lovely guide (Vida) showed us hidden nooks and crannies of the camp, knew so much as her father had been imprisoned... We spent three days with three different guides exploring Prague, as well as visiting Terezin. Each of our guides gave us a unique perspective, and imparted so much knowlege. We spent one day exploring Prague's Jewish Quarter, and on another day we learned about the Czechs under Nazi occupation and the Communist Regime. This was one of the special tours... More

My husband and I had a wonderful tour with Mathew on Sunday, November 9, 2014. He shared lots of information and knowledge with us about the history of Jewish people living in Prague. We visited the synagogues, cemetery and the Jewish museum which was absolutely precious. We highly recommend this tour for anybody interested in learning about Czech history.

A friend and I are studying abroad this quarter and took this tour of the jewish quarter during one of our weekend trips. We really enjoyed the tour. We learned a lot, loved the guide, and felt it was a great value for our money. I would definitely recommend it!

Our guide personalized the history of Czech Jewish community with anecdotes about his family. His knowledge of Judaic practices & laws plus Czech history made our visit so much more interesting then what we would have experienced on our own. Highly recommend,

We spent an entire day with Sylvie on a driving/walking tour of Prague. She is wonderful, knowledgable, and funny. She shared her information in a warm and accessible style. Her Jewish perspective was greatly appreciated. She was not available for our tour of Terezin and sent a colleague to guide us. Vita was our guide on our second day. She... More

My wife and I joined 11 other individuals on this tour to Terezin, ". . .a fortress town converted by the Nazis to a transit ghetto . . ." Led by Zuzana Cerna, a very knowledgeable and competent guide, we were provided with a very good look into the lives of Nazi political prisoners and Jews during World War II.... More

Unlike another tour company that has their posters plastered all over town, I found Whittman by accident and glad I did. Took a group tour to Terezin with Marketa as a guide and a group of 11 others. Booking online was easy and their price was a little less than the other 'big' company. We met at the Intercontinental Hotel... More
