Though the Lobkowicz Palace is situated in the Prague Castle, it requires a separate ticket for entry (which includes an hour long audioguide tour). But it is definitely worth it because the audioguide was extremely informative, using the works of art to explain Europe's history as well as Prague's history through the story of the Lobkowicz family. And the audioguide... More

After strolling across the Charles bridge and going up to the Prague castle, we had very pleasant and relaxing visit at the Lobkowicz Palace. Seeing and hearing about the amazing art and antiques collection and the story about how the family amassed such a fortune and lost it to WWII and then to the communists was interesting. Then we sat... More

Having read about the Lobkowicz Palace in the Rick Steve book, and as an avid museum goer, I was very interested in visiting this site, plus I had also read that the cafe there was the best place to have lunch while in the Palace area. One tip I learned too late: if you plan to tour the palace, buy... More

We can not recommend more highly the Lobkowicz Palace and Collections for the wonder and the beauty they contain and not least of all the family story of loss and recovery. We also recommend attending the hour-long musical concert and lunch at the cafe. Don't miss it. Ron & Carol--Menlo Park, CA

What a beautiful palace and interesting family collection. The history of the building and family is worthy of a trip.

I really enjoyed my visit in this palace. I was looking on my TripAdvisor app to find something different for my sightseeing, and this palace caught my attention. I really appreciated the museum in itself (a lot of paintings but also a music room, arms & armor, etc.), but what touched me the most was the Lobkowicz family's story. Take... More

We visited this palace and did the audio tour. It was far more interesting than we expected. The story of the family who owned the property, then lost it, then recovered it again (and again) was intriguing. There is a nice collection of artwork and antiquities - some of which have ties to some very famous people. It was well... More

This extraordinary palace has, after all the dislocations of the second half of the 20th Century, come back into the hands of this once powerful Lobkowicz family. They have fixed it up beautifully as a museum of the history of the family, which interests with kings, emperors and composers. The taped tour is as good as I have ever heard;... More

After over two weeks of organized tours throughout eastern Europe, I was ready to head back to my hotel room and watch reruns of Gilligan's Island. It'd already signed up for the Lobkowicz Palace tour, however, so I figured what-the-heck. And now I'm glad I did! I'm not a huge art history buff and when I saw rooms filled with... More

My wife and I spent about a half day visiting the Palace and could have spent more. There is so much history here it is hard to take it all in. It is a must see in Prague!
