We thoroughly enjoyed visiting this place. It's just amazing to view all the centuries of family history in this privately owned palace and to know the current generation is still involved in running it. Stunningly beautiful.

We had a surprisingly awesome visit! We didn't really know what to expect, but truly loved it. It is a very well done museum that offers spectacular history of Prague and this family! The family has an amazing collection of artwork, dishes, and music. The armory was pretty neat, too! This is well worth the time and money! We also... More

This palace is easily visited after the main Prague Castle as it is next door. As palaces go, it is very lacking in furniture, I presume the nazi's pinched all the original, and the communists didn't buy any new furniture, so you are left with a large palace with empty rooms but lots of paintings - I can see why... This is a truly wonderful castle museum with an overview of the Lobkowicz family during the past centuries. Many of the displays are of rare manuscripts and personal possessions, all of which give insight into the daily lives of one of the royal families. I wish I had allowed more time to spend in the museum. Cafe and gift shop... More

Nice palace with an amazing story: the family fled both the Nazis and the Communists only to reclaim part of their holdings in 1991. The family Lobkowicz has a storied history, and a painting for almost every ancestor. Would also recommend paying for the 1:00 concert of Prague's greatest classical hits.

Interesting visit, with a really good audio tour. Some nice historic facts about Prague and the Lobkowicz family. Had some really nice artifacts; like some writings from Mozart and Bach.

A friend recommended a visit and I am do glad that he did. This museum is in the Palace grounds and was home to a prominent Czech family who fled the Nazi invasion and settled in America. They reclaimed their heritage after the Velvet Revolution in 1989 and have restored four of their twelve residences. The audio tour is included... More

Amazing story of a local very rich family. The palace has absolutely an amazing collection. Highly recommend a guided tour or the audio tour to understand the history of it. We also did the afternoon concert, which was disappointing. Tourist standards. The piano player in our opinion hammering too much on the piano, the violinist made too many mistakes. Only... More

This palace is very big and beautiful. The collection of the Lobkowicz family is rich and amazing. I especially loved how Maximilian Lobkowicz explained everything through the audio-guide. It felt very emotional and lovely. The paintings, silverware, guns, other artifacts etc. are beautiful. If you have time, enjoy the everyday classical music concert at 1 p.m. There is a book...
