This collection is ok but the price they charge is ridiculous and i think it is wise to just see the lobby and take some pictures. You can get your money and times worth in so many other places in Prague.

This old palace right next to the castle has a great tour - use the audio guide to hear someone with an American accent describe the history of his family and see the exhibits. I loved seeing the original Beethoven scores - didn't realize this family supported him. Worth an hour to 2 hours to see this.
The Palace is Beautiful. The view in entrance very nice. There are short classical music show that is not bad. I recommend this place for visit when you are in Prague.
A fantastic museum, well worth a visit. You can relax on the terrace and enjoy a very nice lunch whilst enjoying spectacular views of the City.
museum of the lobkowicz family. There is a painting by Pieter Breughel the elderly, original notebooks by Von Beethoven, Haydn, Handel and Mozart, 2 paintings of London around 1750 by Canaletto, and a painting by Velazquez of the young girl that is promineent as well on his mot famous painting which is in the Prado now. What a surprise … we loved Lobkowicz Palace! In fact, we enjoyed our visit to Lobkowicz Palace more than any other venue within the castle complex with the exception of St. Vitus Cathedral.
Built in the 16th century for the Pernstejn family & acquired & rebuilt (after a fire) in the 17th century by the Lobkowicz family, the excellent audio...

We only went to Lobkowicz Palace because it was really rainy, but ended up enjoying the experience. I'm not generally a big fan of museums, but I liked this one because of the audiobook. The audiobook was narrated by William Lobkowicz which made it very personal and a lot more interesting than if it had been narrated by anyone else....

Nice break from the turmoil of visiting tourist sites around the cathedral and the castle. Interesting family with a nice display of Czech heritage. Don't miss the concert in the small ballroom. We have a pianist and viol the day we were there - very nice. There is a pleasant cafe in the palace but it is expensive.
walk through with the audio tour. Amazing real history and we met the current (prince) though titles were abolished long ago.
I came upon this palace while researching for our trip to Prague and what a find! We did the obligatory tour of the castle and church and then went to the Lobkowicz Palace. We attended the noon recital followed by lunch and both were a welcome treat. It was fun seeing the palace and learning about the family. The audio...
