Our tour included a narrated castle tour, dinner overlooking the city of Prague and a concert featuring Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert and Dvorak. A pleasant surprise was a visit by the current prince and resident of the castle, William, during dinner. The castle and its 'contents were lost twice, once during the Nazi occupation and then again during the Soviet... More

We attended a wonderful classical music concert in the palace featuring a piano and viola which we loved. This was our favorite museum in Prague. The museum gives you free audio guide which is narrated by the Lobowitz family. It is so personal and so interesting that 3 hours flew by (and I am not a avid museum tourer). NOT... More

The audio tour did a good job of providing overview of the Lubkowicz family and their possessions. The Palace is located at the top of hill, so that you will get a nice view of the city.

During a walking tour break the café in the courtyard was recommended as a refreshment stop. We arrived, sat down and were ignored for 20 minutes. We left. The place was short staffed with 2 servers and a barrista trying to meet the needs of over 50 seats! The male staff were combative with the customers and all of them... More

Fabulous collection, also open Mondays when other galleries are closed. Must have lunch or dinner at the Lobkowicz Palace Cafe, upstairs for the best views over Prague. Sunset was beautiful!

This collection is truly amazing. One of the coolest things they have is original Beethoven and Mozart music compositions with hand written notes on them. The family that owns this palace had 13 palaces that were confiscated by the Nazis, they got them back and then they were confiscated by the Russians, then they got them back again. They have... There are few palaces left in the world that one can actually imagine as someone's home, but in the Lobkowicz Palace a visitor can actually imagine a family calling it - home. In fact, remarkably, it is THE only private residence of the Prague Castle complex and as such is worthy of at least a stroll through, but go ages... More

Rather dry displays of the family's collections of art, porcelain, musical instruments, etc. highlight was the music room.

Visited the complex twice and enjoyed it immensely. The history of the restoration of the palace was fascinating and well worth the visit.

The tour of this facility included a lunch and a concert. The Palace is quite nice and the audio tour is well done. However, we felt that we did not receive value for the money spent. While in a beautiful room, we felt the lunch was just okay. The concert was nice, but most of the selection of music was... More
