We were invited to the palace for a friend's wedding, it's a gorgeous place, with great views of the city. lucky are the couples who get to use it as their wedding venue :)

The back story of this building and collection is fascinating, especially since the audio tour is given by the actual family who owned/lost/regained/lost/regained their possessions. I am so glad that these priceless artifacts are back in the free world's hands, after being held hostage by the Nazis and the Communist Regime. Seeing the original scores of Mozart and Beethoven symphonies... More

It's worth taking one's time and listening to everything the audioguide has to say. The connections with various composeres are amazing.

This was an interesting visit to this small private palace museum in the Prague Castle. The art work is Czech and so I wasn't really familiar with any of the artists, but the audio tour was well done and it gave some history of the palace. Plan to spend about two hours there. There is a very nice café in... More

We unexpectedly ran across this palace as part of our Prague overview tour. I was grabbed by the poster outside advertising that they have original Beethoven and Mozart manuscripts on display. It got my attention so much that we decided to drop off from our original lackluster overview tour, just so that we can spend time to visit the Lobkowicz... More

Having strolled through Prague Castle I stumbled upon the Lobkowicz by chance and decided to visit. It was a superb experience that encompassed music, history and art. Wonderful place.

Did everything. Took the audio tour which was great. Ate in the cafe which was good. Stayed for a concert. Even the gift shop was nice. Seeing the original Mozart and Beethoven manuscripts made the hair stand up on the back of my neck. Wow!

We only made time to go into one palace and this was it. We choose it to hear a selection of light classical music at 1 pm and then take the audio tour of the palace. The music was well judged, excellently performed, and in a small room. The museum included original manuscripts by Mozart and others! The audio is... More

We bought the combo ticket which included a lovely midday concert. We booked online before our visit which all worked well. The audio tour is excellent -nicely done, not boring, interesting stories. A really lovely afternoon which I would highly recommend

I wasn't expecting much from this family home, but the positive reviews convinced me to go. I'm so glad I did! The art work collection is nice, but there aren't too many standouts. The most amazing part of the collection is for music lovers. Past members of the Lobkowicz family were patrons of Mozart and Beethoven, and they have kept... More
