We were advised by another couple to visit the Staropramen brewery visitor center and we were not disappointed. Whilst the tour of the brewery itself we did not find fascinating the staff in the bar were very knowledgable friendly and helpful and the bar was full of groups visiting the brewery which made for an exceptional atmosphere! We are returning... More

I am disappointed to say the least. After a lovely lunch at the attached restaurant, I was excited to go on the tour. I have been to a few other brewery tours in Czech Republic, and this is by far the worst. My companion and I were the only people doing the tour, which was suspicious to me at first... More

Having lived next door to the Staropramen brewery in Prague 5 (Smichov) for a number of years, I have been lucky enough to visit the brewery a couple of times. The first time was a bog-standard tour guide led tour, whilst the updated interractive version is a massive improvement, with visitors receving lots of useful and fun information about the... More

Booring. Expected more expected to see a brewery but maybe im naive. Was a interactive tour with some stations showing some old equipment and new and talking about the history of the beer. In the end you get a tasy beer!!! . I should have visited Urquells instead

This is not enormus and not spectacular, but a very warm and friendly way of telling a great story. All four of us liked it very much. Classe Lindner/family

So not worth of visiting. We have visited some other brewerys and this was most disappointing experience. You just follow the light from room to room and there is a virtually man who shows pictures and tells about history. Takes about 30 minutes. Visit pub, drop brewery tour.

I was at Staropramens Visitors center two times in my life. I was really excited of hospitality of the crew. Excellent beer, excellent service, great location and definitely one of the best expiriences in Prague. If you want something special with really nice people, try this! See you soon and greetings from Cali! F.

If you are expecting to visit a real brewery, well you won't. It's like paying 8 euros to spend 15 to 20 minutes looking at a giant moving commercial for Staropramen beer. There's no actual guide, it's merely an audio voice guiding you through the 5 rooms you're going to see. Knowing that the really brewery is just next door,... More

Staropramen is my favourite Czech lager so had to go for the tour again. It doesn't show any actual brewing processes and to be honest is average as it's all automated with videos. I think it costs 199 CZ entrance fee and this includes a free (although it's already paid for) beer in the bar afterwards. The great plus about... More
