This is not as bad as some of the reviews suggest, but it's not particularly good. The action is rather confused and confusing, and while the actors seem to be doing their best, the material doesn't offer the much to work with. It falls far short of the Laterna Magika show I saw in Prague 35 years ago. Spend your... More

This is an interesting show with short skits. Its a tiny theatre so you are very close. It is comedic and fun to watch. Do not try too hard to figure out how it works just enjoy it!

We went to see the performance about the Beatles and yellow submarine. The story was alright but used dozen of times before - love from then till now. Young amateurs made the show and they did fairly alright but nothing made your hair rise - instead you nearly fell asleep sometimes. It lasted 1 and a half hour but that... More

I have been there with many other friends one night couple of months ago. Let's specify that we were/are all working and living here so we were not tourist and were just curious to go and have a look at this performance so "well-known" in Prague. We watched the performance about the Beatles. OMG, nothing was related to them...it seemed... More

According to the tour books, Black Light theatre is a Czech institution and not to be missed. We walked by one called "Rock Therapy", which claimed to be inspired by the Beatles. As I can't resist anything Beatles-like, we paid the €28 each. Once we got in, the lights went down and the show started with some slideshow similar to... More

I wish I had read the reviews . We wasted precious time finding the place - we got lost in the numerous streets . The show was of poor quality to say the least . It was a last minute choice because our jazz cruise was cancelled (due to heavy rains) and a very poor choice . The show was... More

This theatre is one of most active to advertise itself. Maybe bells should ring if this is needed. Anyhow we tried and noted that if you compare ticket prices it does not give value for your money(550KR). Anyhow if you do not find others this is good experience to understand this cultural speciality. Story was about beatles and some dancers... More

Your in Prague. A city of beauty. And as we were coming out of the restaurant in the municipal building (Art Nouveau). There was jazz concert there. Tomorrow the orchestra. The next day the ballet. I tell you this because there are so many better choices then mediocre mime and repetitious black light dancing. The theatre is cramped, the chairs... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
