Professional musicians and a great place. Very popular, cosy and usually very crowded. It is not like a classic bar you go and listen to music. It is like a small concert venue. It would be good to reserve just in case.

Below the city there is a cave that serves drinks and live jazz music! Professional musicians, I feel like I was at a real concert and not just some people playing a ditty in a bar. No cover charge. I was impressed with the atmosphere and the music. Really chill and relaxed vibe. Good for a quiet evening of good... More

We are not a big jazz fans. We went just for the experiment because the place had very good reviews. the place is very cosy and the agharta band is probably very good (not a jazz fan so i cannot really judge). however for us, not a great jazz lovers, it became boring after a while.

If you're a jazz enthusiast, don't miss stopping in for a set. Cozy environment (it's a cave), friendly staff, great acoustics and some very talented musicians. Fun time and would definitely go again!!

When I heard the words "jazz" and "cave" together I was already sold, but I wasn't expecting the house band to be anything special. But from the moment they started the energy and pure enthusiasm invigorated the room. The most exciting version of Norwegian Wood I have ever heard preceded Mission Impossible and then mixed into some original compositions by... More

Located in the very hart of the old town this jazz club is an excellent place to enjoy a wonderful night, good music, excellent service, very nice place and very affordable prices. I recommend it without any doubt, it was one of the best night not just in Prague but in all our trip to East Europe.

Definite place to visit in Prague is you enjoy jazz. The night we were there 'the agharta gang' were playing. They were brilliant!! The atmosphere was great. A very small room with a large ceiling almost like a cave. The tables were candlelit with a large stage at the front. The drinks from the bar were a very decent price.... More

We went to Agharta to hear the Robert Balzar Trio. They were great and the acoustics were fantastic. This little venue holds 80 or so people and is a great place to have a beer, chill and listen to some good live music. I would suggest checking the schedule and making reservations. Make sure to get there before 9. We... More

Blue Note, Birdland, Iridium...........Agharta is right there with the great jazz clubs, real jazz none of the I IV V blues players so often mislabeled as jazz. Great virtuoso players, complex yet melodic lines, great improvisational, all you expect from a night of straight ahead jazz. Real artists. Do not miss this great jazz club in a great jazz city!!!
