Our visit to agharta Jazz bar was our first ever Jazz bar visit. We reserved tickets in advance, a process which was very easy. The bar is underground and has a great atmosphere. The drinks are very well priced and the range of cocktails is great. We went to see City Nights. It was a fantastic night and the perfect... More

Located in a cellar with good acoustics the club was a little cramped but very entertaining. The musicians were very accomplished and while my particular Jazz genre was not in play, it was an enjoyable evening.

So FUN! We stopped in late on a Sunday evening and caught the second set of a fun jazz group. The setting is really cool and funky, set way down low in (what I was told) was on old stable. We were able to order drinks at the table and the service was great. A definite place to visit in... More

Great night at the AghaRTA. Got there bit later than planned so had to pay the reasonable entry fee (Think about 240 crowns each). The band where "Frantisek Kop" and were absolutely brilliant, accomplished musicians.. excellent. They played roughly 3 x 40min sets between 9pm-midnight. Which I believe is the standard for most acts at venue. Excellent band. As has... More

Great place to start and/or spend whole night. The bar staff speaks great English. They are spectacular and cheap; I highly recommend stepping by if you are looking for a place to hang out in the city.

Cool underground cellar club with a good atmosphere. There is a small charge to get in but is well worth it. Table service was fast and friendly and the wine was decent quality. Will be back!

The price to get in was fair because the jazz musicians were amazing. The place was packed so strangers share tables or sit against the chairs in the back against the wall. Made for an intimate setting in this underground cave bar. The waitress was attentive and managed to get to everyone despite the lack of space and the beer... More

Spent a night listening to some high quality fusion Jazz at this club. Comfy underground space with good service and reasonable prices.

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
