AghaRTHA is one of my favorite jazz clubs in Prague. There aren't any bad seats as it is rather small and intimate. It constantly has excellent groups performing. It is a non-smoking venue. Tickets are reasonably priced and can be ordered on-line. However, if you are ordering with a Visa card, be prepared to call their 800 number in the... More

If you're into jazz at all, you will not regret visiting this amazing jazz club. It costs 250 koruna to get in, but this is more than worthwhile. The band we saw was extremely good and the atmosphere was great. Service is also very good, they bring the beers right to your table so you needn't miss a minute of... More

I really enjoyed this small jazz bar. I went there alone and I'm not an expert in jazz, but I really enjoyed it. The entry ticket is just 250 CZT, and prices for drinks are really great. Glass of czech wine is almost the same as for water:) and most important, really beautiful music. 5 out of 5

Great for an evening with friends or as a couple, music was fun upbeat Jazz and you dont have to be a jazz fan to enjoy it (we didnt know many songs but lived it!). It was a great place to relax and drinks/snacks were so cheap! Recommended for a memorable night out in Prague.

The music sounded amazing in this small jazz club, there were no seats available so asked if we could wait at the bar until something came available, the member of staff who spoke to us would not allow this and was unnecessarily rude. Plenty other options in Prague just as good without the rude staff.

We stumbled across this place as we walked back to the hotel and heard the smooth sound of the sax beckon from an inconspicuous door which led underground. Inside the venue is relaxed with tables scattered about the main room and a bar near the entrance. The jazz was excellent and a great way to spend an evening, i only... More

Very nice atmosphere, relaxed and respectful to both audience and musicians. Cosy, good sound. Drinks only, that, to my mind, is a good choice if you want to listen to the music. Tickets at the door or online. Can definitely recommend.

We went to this venue on a quiet Wednesday night and experienced an excellent jazz band, Limited Edition. We have visited a few jazz venues in Prague and this was one of the best (if not the best) live jazz. It was a pity that there were not more people to appreciate this performance. The only suggestion that I would... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
