If you are a fan of architecture and are starting to think that Prague is firmly stuck in the middle ages, this modern masterpiece comes as welcome relief. Built in 1996 by Frank Gehry it is located about 1km south of Charles Bridge beside the Vltava. Walking here from the old town you will also pass a number of fine... More

This looked a very interesting building when planning the trip so was added to the list. Luckily it was close to the hotel so did not waste a trip there. The outside is strange but did not stand out as you would expect from the pictures on the net.

From the outside you can take nice photos off the building that was very well constructed. But if you want to go inside just to take some pictures you need to buy an expensive ticket to visit a gallery where you can take photos of the outside.

One of the top 3 oddly built buildings of Prague. The photos shown are just like real life! It took abit of a walk to get there but it was worth it as we had not seen anything like it!

Frank Gehry (perhaps better known for his design for the Guggenheim Museum Building) collaborated on this visually arresting building in the 1990s: Gehry nicknamed it 'the Dancing House' and some called it 'Fred and Ginger'. It's in a controversial style called 'deconstructivist' but Vaclav Havel (who lived close by, even while he was President, and whose family co-owned the plot... More

An unexpected pop of modern architecture amongst a sea of well preserved styles of previous generations.

I saw those buildings from the distance and I have been immediately very surprised! Such a nice idea, you cannot leave Prague without having seen them!

Amazing building but inside museum is total rip off. Very dissapointed. Expensive price, we only got to see roof and few art works. Shame

My friends and I were looking for a great spot for our last dinner in Prague. We had wanted the see the Frank Gehry building and someone in our group noticed that there was a restaurant on the top floor. Based upon the reviews on Trip Advisor we thought we would give it a shot and were we ever glad... More

An excellent attempt by one of the greatest living architects to fill a gaping hole in a historical city like Prague. A brave one too! But in my opinion worth making trip to see one of the largest public sculptures in Prague. A ticket to the top where the view is great is 120ck and a visit to the art... More
