beautiful place. So nice and quiet. The best time to come here when everything is blooming. If you are fan of the nature it will be nice option for you especially after couple days in crowded Prague

Went mid morning on a Sunday and had the place almost to ourselves. Really enjoyed the greenhouses, especially the cactus collection. Outside is average for botanical gardens but something unique was the geo rock collection set up by the university. For a change of pace from all the buildings it was worth the visit.

Very suitable for kids, calm, soothing and healing place with beautiful flowers and meditation places (zen garden) in the busy city.

I visited Botanical Gardens with my friend and it was a week ago, but I remember our walk there still! Lots of beautiful flowers and trees, nice small gardens for tea ceremony and lovely tea shop, where the guys served not just different kinds of tea, but pure Arabic coffee, Mexican preria and Japanese corner for relaxation and meditation and... I had seen this marked on our hotel map. Being a big gardening fan and having seen all the (very crowded) major sights of Prague, I wanted to check this out. I was also trying to visit areas off the tourist group path. It's gorgeous and free of charge.

I simply like the Prauge Botanical Gardens in Troja. It’s such a lovely place which consists of so many different areas. In the upper area you can rather relax, enjoy summer days laying on sunbeds provided or just walk around learning about flowers, bushes and trees. Your kids may visit a playground made of natural materials, you can spend some... More

A botanical garden might be not that everyone is keen on, but this time, you should make your plans and come here. This is not ordinary botanical garden, where only flower beds and pathways are present. Here you can spent a whole day and relax. In the upper parts it is more like a wild nature with exception on a... More

If you want to spend time outside in winter this is a great place. Easy access by Metro to Holesovice and then by bus 112. We got off at second last stop to walk up the vineyard, on a morning with fresh snow cover the views were magical. Walk through gardens is still great even in winter, and then we... More

Very poor compared to our botanic gardens and the poor birds kept in far too small cages just finished me off. The only nice thing was the lily pond but on the whole not worth the bother.

A car would be handy if you are a visitor to Prague but then where do you put it? I took the train and then a local bus. It wasn't difficult and didn't take long. On the day I went, Prague was suffering a heatwave and temperatures were in the high 30s so getting up the hill to the gardens... More
