I can say we have the most beautiful theater I have seen. For sure dress well. Not jeans and trainers please! Book the tickets in advance to have good seats. But even if you go to the highest floor that is cheap you get the atmosphere and after check the free places and move after the break. Enjoy!

The building and the hall are very beautiful. We experienced a very enjoyable 'Sunday matinee of Smetena's 'The Bartered Bride' - no worries, there were English supertitles along with German - with excellent performance and production - inventive yet nondistracting sets, and excellent support from chorus, dancers, and orchestra. And it was heartening to see so many children brought to... More

The National Theatre is not only a woinderful building from the outside, the inside is breathtaking as well. The performances held there are top class. This building is so beautiful. At first I saw it in day light, then at sunset and then my Socks flew off when I saw it at night. Even though it is currently covered in blue tarps on one side, it is amazing.

I've been into The Estates Theatre who is one of the most beautiful historic theatre buildings in Europe and into New Stage , two places full of cultural history but very alive from the new modern theatre performances.

The theater is just beautiful. We went to see the ballet and it was just wonderful to be surrounded by such opulence and attending a show there. I've visited a lot of theaters and opera houses through Europe and it was nice to have had the opportunity to watch a show inside this one.

The National Theatre itself is a beautiful venue and an easy walk from the Old Town Square or Wenceslas Square. Check in advance to see what is playing and booking online is very straightforward. We saw Antonin Dvorak 'a "Rusalka" which was originally staged in the Czech language. There are,nof course, English subtitles. Let me say that we had intended... More

This historic, fully restored theatre is absolutely magical for performances. All seats provide great views of the performance, in a totally gold-surround environment. Well worth the price of admission. Visitors must ignore the horrendous glass-faced addition that the communist powers-to-be added some 40 years ago, most Czechs would prefer that it disappear! And we agree with them. Fortunately, it does... More

We went to see Don Giovani and the entire experience was amazing. The interior is beautiful and the acoustics are excellent. However, some of the staff were not particularly friendly. But the tickets were relatively cheap and the performance was very impressive.
