We took the advice that if we were going to try black light theatre (and we were told we should try it at least once) that we should “choose wisely” and go to a more established, larger theatre. That was why we chose Laterna Magika. Unfortunately you also need to have good luck, as with any theater, that the show... more

Black Light Theatre is a uniquely Prague experience-- but one visit will probably do you. Many of the black light theatres are tourist traps in the worst sense, rather expensive and cheezy with a bit of nudity thrown in, more flash than substance and a bit frayed at the edges. You will see little black light theatres all over Prague.... more

I saw wonderful circus and it was great. http://www.laterna.cz/en/repertory/wonderful-circus/ It's very abstract and different in the way Cirque Du Soleil is, but yet different in different ways.. CDS is more acrobatics and the like, while Laterna Majika is more a combination of theatrical styles (black theater, video, stage acting, etc). I highly recommend it!
