I saw the Magic Flute here and it was simply wonderful! An amazing, beautiful theater and a wonderful setting to see a show. The staff went above and beyond to make the experience unforgettable - truly some of the best customer service I've ever encountered. Tickets were well-priced, even for the nicer boxes. If theatre/opera interests you, this is a... More

We took our 10-year-old here for his first opera experience and were all mesmerized by the architecture. The performance was top-notch. Would go again. Friendly staff. I don't think you can get a bad seat in the house, though we did have center box seats on the 3rd tier, which were perfect for reading subtitles to follow along.

We actually booked a ticket to a children's ballet (the only thing that met our time frame!), just so we could experience this beautiful, charming historic Theater. Recommended in "1,000 Places to See Before You Die", it was well worth the ticket price. There are some things you just go see, and then there are those that you experience ~... More

Has to be one of the most beautiful opera houses. we had a front-row, center seats. The opera was Mozart's Abduction from Seraglio. For some reason, it's very rarely staged in the US. This opera house a must-see, and bring the camera - yu're allowed to take pics before and after the performance.

I am by no means an opera fan, but I could not pass up seeing a Mozart opera at the Estates Theater while in Prague. I booked my wife and I tickets to see the Marriage of Figaro (unfortunately Don Giovanni was not playing at the Estates while we were in Prague) and reserved one of the boxes on the... More

We hadn't planned to go to this, only discovering the event on a poster whilst waiting for a tram. Tickets in the 'gods' were 290 krowns each ... Expected to have problem with height, but none at all . Seats were very comfy, with legroom and supporting rail to lean on. The performance was great, with prague ballet throwing some... More

One American couple that we spoke to were clearly very disappointed by this production, but we had enjoyed it thoroughly. The sets were provocative and the staging extremely sexy. Donna Elvira's bright red panties were on and off in frequent succession, but this was no mere gimmick and made sense in terms of Don Juan's sexual escapades. I found the... More
