We went on a Sunday and 3 or 4 wedding couples were celebrating and having photo shoots all over the garden so we didn't have access to the low levels. That didn't matter much because it's the upper parts that is the most beautiful part of the garden with great scenery and amazing layout. Not too many tourists when we... More

Beautiful, cascade garden which is not too small. On the top of it there is a nice viewpoint to Prague.

This garden was beautiful, but if you have trouble with steps, you may not want to go. Once you've climbed to the top, there's an amazing view of the city. I don't have a fear of heights, but I was a little shaky up there!

We enjoyed the structure and order of these pristine gardens. Its worth stopping on each terrace to enjoy the views and the last terrace provides a nice view of the castle. The gardens had recently had begonias planted so we did not see the 10 000 violets they usually have on display. The box hedges were beautiful. The aviary and... More

This terrace garden is one of the best gardens in Prague. On every level is another type of flowers, everything is perfectly cut and there are even oriental birds near the fountain.

This is a ticketed garden but the ticket cost just 2.5 Eur approx. It was pretty peaceful without much crowds (at least when we went). The garden was well maintained though we expected some flowers (being spring) which was not much. Can spend a relaxing hour or two in here.

This was an awesome place for me. Amongst the warbles of the birds and well crafted gardens we found sometime to listen to ourselves. With the view of the cityscape and lush atmosphere this is a must see place.

Do not forget to see the gardens, there is a large area and there is a small ticket but it is beautiful, take lots of pictures and imagine that is the garden of your house

In the 80´s this garden used to be a public garden, it was not well kept but had such a charm! I used to go there and learn or read in summer. The garden belongs to Vrtba noble palais, it is baroque garden with grotto, terracces and beautiful view of the Prague castle. In summer it is so nice to... More

Small arched entrance so dont miss it. There were 6 weddings being held back to back so the bottom small garden (there are 3 levels of garden) was not open. They reduced the entry price automatically which was good and as it should be. In fact it may have been worth more to see the lovely bridal parties there. In... More
