The church is very beautiful on the outside but nothing special on the inside. Its pointy towers are very tall and can really help you orient yourself if you get lost while exploring the alleys near the center.

The historical Týn Church is a prominent building at the Old Town Square. Built in the fourteenth century, its many spires still tower over the city.

The most recognisable church in Prague, best viewed from the Old Town Square. Built in the 14th C on the site of an earlier church, the outside is gothic and the interior baroque. You can access the church via Tyn Court, which is just off the town square, to the right hand side. The church organ is the oldest in... More

This beautiful church is visible from far away in Prague. It is the church that inspired the castle in Disney's Sleeping Beauty. When you look at it, you think that it looks familiar but I could not place.it. The entrance is hard to find. I walked around the entire church and finally found it. It is in the square between... I simply couldn't stop staring at the Church of the Tyn. In the daylight it's gothic architecture overpowers Old Town Square and stares down like the Evil Witch's Castle in every fairy tale you grew up knowing. At night every nook of the spires lights up with a tiny orange glow - magical - eerie and powerful. We scored a... More

Don't make the mistake of walking up to the church's facade and expect to find a grand entrance. The "front" entry is underwhelming and nonfunctional. Go around to the side for the entrance.

I felt like I was in the set of Harry potter movie. So magical and unreal! This church is right near the old town square and at night from the old town square you can see the beautiful lights change colors on the entire tower of the church.

Visit Staromestske namesti at night. That place is fantastic, breathtaking, and the church is part of it. I visited that square many times, even alone. Visit it at night, you won't regret it, I guarantee that. Thank me later!
