We had nice memorable strolls around the Castle District - get off the beaten bath and walk around - find the John Lennon memorial and enjoy the Wall.

Stunning place with gorgeous views. They do need better signage however. We got the A pass and it was worth it.

The Castle District is the highest architectural point of Prague. Take time to walk amongst all the wonderful buildings and see how the Czechs lived for centuries.

I loved the dofferent architecture that has been recruited and created in different eras. But the stories behind the buildings of the people living in them were just as fascinating and it is something to truly admire. There is simply nothing it's equal back where I come from and I was very appreciative of the work that had been done.

There is so much to see. It's not just a castle, the cathedral and the St Georges church are spectacular. The changing of the guard at 12 is worth a look.

One day is no where good enough for visiting Castle. There are a few cathedrals of which St Vitus cathedral is the... More

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
