This beautiful castle stands overlooking Prague and is a must to visit. The walk into the castle is worth seeing itself, guards immaculately dressed on either side. Beautiful buildings and amazing things to see in there.

Grand architecture below Prague's main castle. When en-route to the castle, it got us in the mood to enjoy the architecture of the main castle itself!

This is a must see! Be sure to have good walking shoes and a camera! The vistas from every single angle on the Charles Bridge are just stunning! The Charles Bridge is strictly a pedestrian bridge where you'll find vendors selling souvenirs, jewelry, musical CDs, and artists drawing caricatures. Prague Castle is a compound comprised of St. Vitas Cathedral, Lobkowicz... More

The area is so beautiful and filled with little restaurants everywhere around the castle. The views of Prague are stunning from here and the castle itself is astonishing!

If you are getting there by tram ( number 22 ) get down one more station after the Prague Castle ( Prazky Hrad ) and walk lass that 1000 m from the station to the castle. You will see wonderful castles and painted buildings. Enjoy it. And the best view of the city is at the terrace in front of... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
