Amazing architecture! It is huge and situated as a part of the Courtyards in Prague Castle. The stained glass windows and the Chapels inside are stunning. If you don't feel like paying to see the inside, there is a small part you can enter for free and still you can see most of it... It is a MUST.

The cathedral from the outside is beautiful! I have no idea of the inside. On the friday that we wanted to visit they were in maintenance and the day after it was so crowded that we gave up.

If you just want to check out the scale of it, you don't have to pay. All the best windows to are visible from the non-paying bit. Wenceslas Chapel (the main attraction) seems to be roped off. Very scary guy making sure you pay for votive candles.

These kind of cathedrals never fail to impress me. Stunning architecture and the stained glass windows amaze you. My only niggle is that although you've paid for your entrance ticket, there is hardly any information available in this place for free. You only get to find out about the Cathedral after you've forked out more for the audio tour.

We popped into the Cathedral and were so impressed by the stained glass windows that we wanted to see more. However we discovered that we couldn't just pay to go into the Cathedral and that we had to buy tickets to the whole Castle in order to get further access to the Cathedral. Didn't particularly want to do that so... More

It is hard to imagine that this church's construction was finalized in the 20th century. It is very large and imposing. The side chapels are beautiful - especially the St. Wenceslaus. Some of the most important people of Czech history are buried here: Otokar I and II and other kings as well as St. John of Nepomuk. The work of... More

A very large, impressive cathedral located within the Prague Castle Complex. Cathedral was built over many centuries, and was not finished until early 20th century - which baffled me when I first found out as it had a really historic/ancient feel about it. An extra entrance fee is required if you wish to see the Cathedral's treasures, which I feel... More

You probably would be allowed inside-inside if you've brought yourself the tour tickets but i was told its not worth it, nor is any of the 'admission only with tickets' attractions on the Hill castle. That doesn't mean that Vitus doesn't exude charm, the gothic towering building is impressive from the time your eyes reach it, albeit being teeming with... More

Do pay the extra through the tour price to go round the cathedral. It is beautiful, and I especially loved the stained glass, though more sunlight would have been nice! The Beast? I paid to climb the Tower- 287 steps, as an older one a bit of an effort! But the views from top terrific and helped me sort out... More
