St. Vitus Cathedral is a great example of Gothic architecture. It is located in the center of the Prague Castle (which isn't really a castle, but the offices of the Czech government). While you have to buy a ticket to see the entire cathedral, you can see much of it for free (which I would recommend).

its a gem on the hills... if you ever go to Prague you can't miss this church... the best part is looking at the different "layers" from the years that have past after the construction

Must see. Buy a ticket to skip the crowds. Take in both halves of the church! The Mucha window is amazing. The silver tomb is amazing. And there is just so much to see.

This is a magnificent site! Worth the visit while at the Prague Castle. There's a minimal entry fee for the basic tour.

Went with my 22 year old daughter for a weekend and had a lovely half and hour walking round the cathedral, very beautiful stained glass windows and interesting architecture. Worth buying the multi ticket including castle and golden lane

This is a must for visiting Prague, the beauty of the windows is breath taking. Take the 2 hour tour ticket, it 250 kronen, around $12 per person. It will take you a day to go around, after the golden street don't exit immediately, but go out to the terrace for a unbelievable view of Prague. Take tram line 22,... More

Paying to go to top of St. Vitus tower. 297 steps to get the 300 ft high view but ever so worth it. Great photo opportunity. Also, it gives you an excellent over view of the castle grounds. You grt close up view of the roof/spires. Spend the $$ and enjoy!!

It's worth the money spent to visit the cathedral. The architecture is awe inspiring.I took the audio guide which was nice but a little too lengthy. It was wonderful seeing newly weds posing for pictures in the backdrop. It's a 'must do' on any trip to Prague.
