I would make this my first stop as it just gets busier and more crowded as the day goes by. The windows themselves make this cathedral a major place to stop and spend an hour or so.

We have visited this Cathedral several times and still found it very interesting. You have to buy tickets to get inside but it was really worth the value. The only drawback was that there were too many tourists crowding inside and left you no time to slowly go through the internal buildups in a more detailed manner. Consider the Cathedral... More

We visited a number of different churches in Prague and they were all very impressive. This one was very interesting and well worth a visit.

I'm not at all into religious buildings but have to admit that this place is stunning and well worth a half an hour or so walk around. You can buy tickets for the whole castle complex (to include the cathedrale) right across from the entrance. Well worth the time and energy if you're coming into Prague as a first time... More

Tickets, turnstiles, guards, no place to even say a prayer. Beautiful windows. A guy selling candles to light, but nowhere to kneel and give thanks.

It is an unavoidable Must see in Prague. Not only that it attracts your attention when looking at the city from wherever you are, but it is something that will leave you speechless when you enter it. Buying ticket for a detail visit is highly recommended, though you may enter it for free and observe from he entrance door part.... More

St. Vitus is the cathedral on the hill you are looking at from the Charles Bridge. It is a massive cathedral and it is stunning! I am disappointed that I did not get to see much of it. We took a walking tour to the Castle quarter. Our guide brought us inside to the foyer but told us we could... More

I have seen some of the worlds greatest cathedrals but this is easily in my top 3. The scale is vast the details are incredible and the stained glass is some of the best I have ever seen. This cathedral was only finished less than 100 years ago but you would not guess from the attention to detail applied throughout.... More

We visited St Vitus Cathedral on our trip round Prague Castle and was absolutely amazed by it. The sheer size of it is awesome but once you get inside its even better. The statues are amazing! I didn't want to leave. We did not go on a Tour, just me and my husband and we loved it. Have got to... More
