Very nice place to visit with plenty of monuments, places to eat, exchange shops and beautiful music. The street performers at the main square are amazing, there are very nice souvenir shops in the arcades and there are many walking tours that start here. An almost mandatory starting point for any tour around Krakow.

Cheap market environment... Trinkets, souvenirs, tee shirts, beggars, snake charmers... Tourist trap for low end. After you have fought the throngs of people on the bridge and seen the clock... Get out of there.

I do! I enjoyed very much strolling through the narrow streets filled with shops, antiques, cafes and restaurants.

This was an amazing place, the clock has to be experienced. The tower and the bridge are breathtaking. We spent most of our time in this area and could have stayed longer. The carriage ride for 60 minutes was the best, and the driver had many tidbits of information for us. We loved this part of the town. Our guide... More

The entire old town is an interesting place, pubs and bars, beautiful buildings, like a maze. NBavigator is a helpful thing there. Not to mention the bridges.

If you like fantastic old architecture, this is the place for you. The buildings are exquisite yet so varied. It's almost impossible to look anywhere and not see something wonderful. There are memorial plaques on the footpaths, wonderfully ornate doors, old signs marking houses, various coloured buildings abutting each other, the wonderful astronomical clock, a spacious town square, tiny yet... Although crowded with tourists even on rainy days, we enjoyed the sights of the astronomical clock and wandering the streets.

The wonderful restaurant; the quiet room; the over the top but lovely decor; the helpful concierge; the wonderful restaurant. I had the best onion soup there I've ever had, in the US or in France. Since I can't get to the items below, I highly recommend the Lobkowicz Museum in the Castle. It is a hidden jewel which is difficult... More
