Loved just roaming around the old town. Most lively old towns in Europe I have been to! Streets with loads of interesting shops!

One of the most beautiful and harmonious Old Towns I've seen! And has the same cosy small town feeling about it though being in a large city, well quite crowded, too.

Wear proper walking shoes, bring a blister kit, because you will walk and walk! However, it has plenty for everyone, no matter your age or your interests. The Astronomical Clock is charming. Look up good restaurants in the area on this website, otherwise the area is chock full of touristy places.

Fascinating walk back in time. Wear shoes with the thickest possible treads for the cobblestones or you will bruised and battered but the Old Town is such a gem.

There are so many sights to see. The food on the square is great as well. You never have to go into a restaurant. The exchange rate is awesome too. You don't have to spend much money to enjoy a lot.

We walked quite a bit and it was enjoyable seeing the many shops, museums, churches and restaurants. We enjoyed a concert by a string quartet.

Beautifully decorated for Easter season. Great food. Easy to navigate. Especially enjoyed the chocolate museum.

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
