nothing impressive about this place!. Need to add some more fun activity. Still one of the places to visit in Prague.

The TV tower is an interesting building, not least because of the curious giant babies crawling up its side...you will find more of these crawling in Kampa Park (near the John Lennon wall). It's about a fiver to go up the tower, but it's a great view from the fourth floor, with different rooms from which to view - all...

Nice view out of the window across the city. Ordered gnocchi as a main course and got 7 (seven!) tiny pieces of gnocchi sitting in a small puddle of foam. Almost CZK 50 per piece. Sent it back without touching it and went instead to the local pizza restaurant.
We visited Prague at New Year and went to the TV tower to look at the views, they were very clear and you could see across Prague. Whilst we were there we stopped for some food and the meal was so nice that we went back again on our last day.
We stayed there for around 2-3 hours, had a...

This tower is one of places from which You can observe Prague easily, especially when sun shines moderate:). The thing is that You'll be able to make only behind-the-glass pictures unfortunately((. But to sugar the pill they have very nice café with tasty sweet things and different drinks:))!
It's nothing special. From the tower is almost nothing to see when the sun shines, so maybe I recommend a visit in the early evening or night. Admission is 150 CZK per person (£ 5). But even so, you have a better view of the city from the Prague Castle!
If you're watching through the area on your way to something (Vitkov hill for example) then sure, stop for 20 seconds and have a look but it's literally just a TV tower with a few sculptures of creatures climbing it. Wouldn't go out of your way to visit.
Slightly off the beaten track (Jiriho z Podebrad on 'A' line Metro, or Trams 5, 9 & 26) but well worth it. We followed advice of other reviewers, and got here in time to see the views, and watch the lights come on as the sun went down. Had probably the best meal of our trip, albeit slightly more expensive...

Take an interesting walk off the beaten track through the city and stare in wonder at this incredible structure. It would never get planning permission in England - situated right in the middle of a residential area (next door to a graveyard and nursery) but it is a very thought provoking piece of architecture.
Well worth the reasonable entrance fee...
