During our walking tour of Old Town (Stare Mesto), we didn't go into the Church of St. Nicholas (Kostel sv. Mikuláse), where Mozart played the organ. Instead, we opted to venture across the Vltava, up to Bertramka Villa, the 17th-century private home of the Duseks, now a museum dedicated to the famous composer. Visited Betramka villa last May. Beautiful setting , you could be out in the countryside though you are only 10 mins walk from Andels metro stop. The villa is just up the hill from Movenpick hotel. If you get the chance book for a concert. I went early evening and it lasted for about an hour. 3 violinists and one... more

We really enjoyed it here. It was a little difficult to find but well worth the effort. Perhaps you need a general interest in Mozart or his era but interesting for anyone. The exhibits were good and definitely try the Mozart themed coffee in the cafe!!! more
