As others have said, the memorial to the deported is very moving, like other similar monuments across Europe. The detailed explanations in the displays were very interesting and informative and the Spanish Synagogue was breathtaking with it's Moorish style decoration. My only minor concern would be the cost relative to other exhibitions across Prague in both publicly and privately operated... More

Because I was on a guided tour, I was unfortunately unable to stop at most of the synagogues; however, I did get to see the Pinkas synagogue. The experience was, above all else, extremely moving. The list of names, written all over the walls of the synagogue, is unbelievable. You never truly realize how many people the Holocaust affected until... More

N50°5.416' E14°25.244' This "museum" is not just one building but a series of preserved synagogues and the Old Jewish Cemetery, which together bear witness to 7 centuries of Jewish life in this tiny part of Prague. The admission fee is regrettably high and taking pictures is not allowed. We found the visits to the synagogues and cemetery not very informative... More

This collection of buildings, synagogues and a cemetery is very moving. The listing of names in the Pinkas synagogue is striking since there are so very many. Unfortunately the huge crowds make the experience less than ideal. Upstairs is a children's art exhibit from kids in the Terezin camp. The art is interesting but the plaque describing life in the... The Pincas synagogue is the memorial to the tens of thousands of Jews who were murdered by the Nazi regime. The walls of the synagogues re inscribed with the names of local victims, their date of birth and death. Upstairs is a heart-rendering exhibition of contemporary drawings by children. From the ghetto, most of whom were then transported to concentration... More

Visited with friends and we found the whole experience pricey for what was on offer. Yes you see the museum and walk through a cemetery, but that's it for the money you pay and you get very little in return. I appreciate history, but the tourist management could do a lot better in organising and providing more information. I would... More

After Visiting Terezin. Needed to Complete the Picture. Starting with the Maisel Synagogue. Then the Pinkas. Heart Breaking Seeing all the Names inscribed On the Walls of the Jews Murdered. Names, Dates, plus Places of Birth. To See the Scale. Takes Some Taking in. We Will Not Forget them. Always wanted to See the Jewish Cemetery. Where Rabbi Low was... More

The most moving part was an art exhibition done by children whilst living in the ghettos; thought-provoking and educational.
