Lots of vendors with some nice local crafts. Amazing statues along the bridge. Nice view of the river so no need of a river cruise.

This area is well known as a favorite pick-pocket spot. Just make sure to carry a cross body bag and you'll be fine. We visited this spot three times and each time there was something new to photograph. We also purchased beautiful black and white stills of the bridge as souvenirs.

One of the oldest bridges in the world, with great views over the river and up to the castle. I love the artists who will do your face! Just do not like the huge number of tourists for all the summer months!

This is a must see....a bridge lined with statues...huge statues. street sellers, artists, musicians....a lovely way to spend a leisurely time. Ok there are the odd "dodgy" looking sellers but this is the case in any tourist area in any city of the world, on the whole this is lovely place and certainly there were no "sellers" approaching and hassling... It is nice to see, but once you look see it what else. It is crowded during the day and everyone there is smoking. You should go see it, but then move on.

The Charles Bridge, or Karluv Most, is a very busy pedestrian only bridge over the Vltava River in Prague. It is very crowded during the day and the best time to go is early in the morning. However, walking the bridge at night allows you to see the illuminated Prague Castle at night, an amazing sight! The baroque statues lining... More

Just walk across the bridge and observe the saxofonist who play slow and blue melodies in the afternoon sun. Watch the crowd of people who do exactly the same as you - take photos and smile to each other as they stroll along from one side of the river to the other. And when you have crossed the bridge, just... More
