One of the things to do is walk across the Charles Bridge, which we did several times. Lots of vendors on either side and crowded with tourists. Statues on both sides were covered with spiders and their webs. Gave me the heebie-geebies!

Very interesting and super crowded on the weekend. Night time is the best time as the crowds lessen and it's beautifully lit. Lots of kiosks with jewelry and pictures, not many still open off hours. Many penitent beggars, which is kind of odd, along the edges, near the statues.

We liked everything about the Charles Bridge, no matter what angle you look at it, it's one of the most enjoyable thing to do crossing the bridge! Recommend going there once during the day, once during nighttime as the scenery is quite nice in both settings.

It is not just another bridge. There are many pedestrian only bridges across the main rivers like the one across river Thames in London or like across river Salz in Salzburg or even like the bridge of locks across the river Seine in Paris, but this one has a character of its own. Lined with many statues, on both sides... More

Walking bridge, either end great architecture. Great view of the river. Good street music and plenty to see as you stroll across.

Charles Bridge is the main bridge across the Vltava River - therefore it is PACKED during the day. If you are interested in looking at the statues/taking pictures/enjoying the view, I would recommend visiting around sunrise/sunset, when the crowds are less dense.

This is just the gotta see part of Prague. It is the emotional center of Prague. Just walk it once. Don't need to read more reviews. You've got to get across the river somehow.

This beautiful gothic cobblestone bridge is lined with statues on either side. (The original statues can be seen at Vyšehrad.) It is a pedestrian bridge crossing the river Vltava to the Prague Castle, and has a tower at each end that you can climb for beautiful views of the city skyline and the river below. During the day and early... More
