Visit early in the morning...at about 9:00 would be fine. Otherwise, it will be hard to take more than five steps without bumping into someone else. It get pretty croweded, it's advisable to watch out for pickpockets. You get a pretty nice view of the bridge from the parking lot of the Kafka Museum.

When in visit you have to wallk over Charles Bridge. It would be like going to New York and not seeing the Statue of Liberty! Yeah it is full of tourists, but you will not walk over many more prettier, iconic bridges in your lifetime. Take lots of pictures!

It is one of the most visited sites in Prague. Walking on it, you are transported back in time and can actually picture of how it would look in 15th century or so. It is also a photographer delight. Numerous Czech artists, musicians and souvenir vendors stand on both sides of the bridge. Though don't buy souvenirs here as they... More

This bridge can be very busy during the day and we were warned about pickpockets, although we had no problem. Lots of history, interesting. Good views along the river.

We spend 3 hours here enjoying the street artist, cultural shows and little shops. With a cold beer in hand, the sunset is fantastic to watch and be part off.

There are a lot of copies in Prague, like the Petrin tower, the French Street, but the Charles Bridge is definitely specific of Prague. It was built by Charles the 4th and it is full of imposing statues. Besides the history about it, Charles Bridge is full of people all day long, musicians, painters. Although there are towers around the... More

The bridge is quite popular, overrun with tourists. We visited in fall when it was rainy yet it was busy yet not as busy as it gets in dry months. It's nice to visit and say that you've seen it as it has many statues that are excellent sculptures. But truly it's just a stone bridge that connects the old... More
