It seems every tourist goes to the Charles Bridge, it is for pedestrians only and is a great place to see the many people who come to Prague on vacation

Very, very busy with tourists, advised to get there before 10.00am. lots of street entertainers, painters etc. used to be well known for pick-pockets but we didn't have any problem. lots of bars etc at both ends. very scenic views down the river and of the castle.

It is worth seeing because there are some cool statues on the bridge. There are also some local artists selling their wares. There are usually a few performers there. It is also very, very crowded.

Charles Bridge is one of the best bridges in the country. Gorgeous views of the city, mountains, palace, almost everything in Prague. There are no vehicles allowed on the bridge. It is just for walking people. The locks from married couples on the bridge railing is unique. Nice place to take pictures and make memories in Prague.

The world famous Charles bridge is a must visit. Best picture spot with the Vltava and the historic sites too.

The bridge has an interesting history, is quite nice architecturally and offers some great views of Prague. Sadly it was overrun by tourists and vendors selling overpriced souvenirs when I visited, but at least the buskers added some tranquility with their excellent music.

It is a wonderful place, but I advice you to go there in early morning. I was there in the evening on Friday and stuck! You will not see beauty of the Bridge and Vltava if there are thousands of people.

The sculptures have been left to discolor and are covered in cobwebs, and yet hoards of people stop at each one to take pictures. It became a struggle just to walk across.....

Beautiful and historically important sight. BUT, absolutely overcrowded any time of day. Go there once and then try to avoid it. There are other bridges in only minutes walking distance. If you do go there, watch your purse.
