Superlatives do not do the Charles Bridge justice. Although probably only a few hundred metres long, it is a kaleidoscope of activity contrasted with some blacked and ancient statuary. As bridges go this one is lovely to look at and even nicer to sit on. Listen to the bridge band , buy the CD and you must take a moment to listen to the hum around you you. More

The bridge is very busy venue with numerous tourists and painters and vendors. The bridge is about 550 meters long and 10 meters wide and is decorated by a continuous alley of 30 statues and statuaries. The statues were originally placed in 17th century.
