Always a great way to start and end the day. During the day there are artists displaying their wares. Beautiful views of the city, the castle and up and down the river. This stone pedestrian only bridge was started in the 1300's. There are many statues on the stone rails. One has a worn down foot as it is supposed... More

The Charles Bridge deserves its reputation as one of the most important tourist attractions in Prague. Lined with dozens of statues of historical and legendary figures, teeming with tourists, and buzzing with artists, buskers and peddlers of various kinds, while also offering gorgeous views of the city on the river Vltava - it's really a lovely experience.

The most important point in visutin Prague. Beautiful view. In offert short trip by the Dunaj river. I only did not like people kneeling on the bridge and asking about money.

A visit to Prague is incomplete without a walk on Charles Bridge (Karlovy Most). We walked over the bridge in the afternoon and the evening when it was teeming with people. There were some beautiful street concerts on the bridge and many couples posing for photos with the statues that lined the two sides. A very romantic experience.

The bridge in itself is a must if in Prague. A little surprised to see just how crammed the place really is due to the massive amount of people - watch out for the beggars and pick-pockets.

All roads seem to lead to Charles Bridge so you will find yourself crossing it several times. however, it's always crowded, particularly so at night. there are some good street entertainers here particularly the cello quartet. it's buzzy but crowded.

Having recently visited Florence, we were expecting a similar type of Bridge / experience. Unfortunately there isn't a lot to Charles Bridge. Yes there are lots of statues, but they are grouped in three or four, so not as impressive as expected and with all the crowds, not easy to see. There are some rather "tacky" souvenir stalls on the Bridge... More

Lovely old bridge. There is a plate attached to the railing remembering the death by drowning of St John of Nepomuk on the right hand side of the bridge when you come from the old town. The legend says you have to touch it to come back to Prague. On the bridge you have a lovely view of part of... More

The bridge itself is lovely, with very nice ornate statues along it with beautiful views. However be very careful of nearby souvenir shops selling Gas masks from between at least the 1930's -1990's as they may potentially contain asbestos, which can lead to various serious illnesses. This fact is not highlighted and some of the masks in question were at... More

A really unique bridge of Europe that is the most impressive way to enter the Prague castle side of the river. The bridge is always super busy, with stalls and buskers set up across the bridge. Be careful for pickpockets in the crowd, as apparently it is notorious for this. A great spot to capture a great photo and soak... More
