This is the most popular tourist attraction in Prague. You will walk across it and take a Kodak moment of the beautiful river scenes. You will learn that St. John the Martyr was thrown off this bridge, and to rub the plaque beneath his statue will be good luck and a return to Prague.

The most famous bridge in Prague and one of the most beautiful bridges i have ever seen. Bigger than 500 meters, its full of old statues and has a great history. Try to visit it as early in the morning as possible to avoid the crowds. It can get REALLY crowdy.

it was charming. musicians, artisans, crafters, and beautiful sculptures and views, daytime and nighttime. You could see the other bridges, the castle, cathedrals, the water. It lead to a part of the old town that had much to see and do.

Beautiful view of the city at night! The historic buildings lining the river are well light and very pretty at night.

We crossed the bridge many times, as we visited different historical parts of Prague. It's alive with artists. One day, a band was so interesting, we bought their cd, after listening and dancing. The statues are beautiful and it's fun to take time to read a little about each one (from a guide book). The base of the bridge, on... More

This is a very popular bridge with the tourists. Also you can see the buskers and traders selling Cezch handcrafts. A must to take photos of the bridge at night.

A lovely little area around the Bridge. Plenty of places to eat and drink, along with railing to put your love lock on. The bridge is lovely to stroll along day and night, extremely busy in the summer months. Nice atmosphere day and night. The bridge is pedestrianised with artist and stalls along.

I love that bridge. It was built by our most famous king of all time and us (Czechs) should be proud of it. There are many sculptures symbolising different things and people who were important for the czech history for example Jan of Nepomuk.

The views from the bridge are spectacular - there's lots of shops and entertainers on the bridge. We had been warned about pick pockets but we had no problems
