We loved this area so much that we went back twice in two days. It's fun to stroll the bridge with all the artisans and their booths on it. Just beautiful.

The bridge offers a nice view of Prague. It was also full of visitors and people playing guitar or other instruments. Nice sight!

Prague's famous historical bridge that crosses the Vltava river is lined with statues of religious figures and gives you some lovely views whilst crossing. The bridge is busy with tourists and there's also souvenir vendors, artists and buskers - some not so good but some enjoyable groups playing the blues. Also worth a visit at night - very atmospheric and... More

Great to stroll over the old bridge to the "lesser" town. It does get very crowded but it's a good natured crowd and you just go with the pace of the flow. You will find a few people begging too which, although sad, can be a bit off-putting. The views from the bridge are great, looking up to the castle,... More

A must see on any trip to Praque. Numerous historical monuments on the bridge, including great views of the river and surrounding sites. Definitely a historical landmark over many centuries.

The Charles Bridge straddles the Vltava River, and was coated in recent snowfall when we visited in winter. Statues line the bridge and provide a nice piece of adornment as visitors stand to gaze at the beautiful river. Climbing to the top of the Old Town Bridge Tower provides wonderful views across the bridge and river, up the hill to... More
