A walk across this bridge is a must in Prague. The history of the place is amazing. Our guide gave us all the details as we walked and I would say a guided tour is a must for non Czech speakers.

the bridge itself tells the history of Prague with the Prague Castle on one side of it. There are few sculptures on both sides of the bridge, each having some stories/history behind it. My favorite is of the one who was a royal father or something who used to listen to the confession of the queen. the queen had an... More

This is The Place to be in Prague and the number of tourists crowding the bridge prove it. Gorgeous views from both sides of the bridge. Artists set up shop along the Bridge. Everyone taking pictures along the bridge. This is purely a pedestrian bridge, no cars have access.

We walked across this bridge as part of a guided walking tour. it is a fascinating structure with sculptures of various saints and other famous figures spaced out on both sides all the way across. There are many artists and other artisans along the bridge, several of whom draw caricatures. Several groups of musicians were also busking along the bridge.... More

Overcrowded at daytime, Charles Bridge is great to see in the gentle light of the rising sun. 10 to 20 people and several runners don't distract from the view and taking photos.

You're in Prague. You're a tourist. Go see the Charles bridge. Go take pictures. Go enjoy the view. I find it best at night with the lights playing off of the water and the castle/cathedral all lit up. Night also has the additional bonus of having less tourists/people running around. I found it lovely enough to go out of my... More

This is probably the most popular bridge in Prague. It usually becomes crowded strating from 9am. You can see many spectacular statues on the bridge. You can also see many artists or street performancers there. If you want to enjoy the view and walk slowly on the bridge, I would suggest you to go there before 9 am when there... More

People selling paintings and photographs and jewellery. Violinists playing. The views across the river at both sides superb. And we went on a 50 minute river cruise which was bliss.
