Entertainers of every kind fill Prague's Old Town Square, and everywhere you turn there's something being thrown, lit or played. Like in the rest of Prague, medieval constructions like Týn Church and the Clock Tower coexist side-to-side with classic buildings in harmony. It's too bad that the view to Týn is blocked by a row of houses.
People watching from sidewalk cafes, the Astrological Clock, wandering musicians, and the ability to walk freely among the OLD beautiful buildings.
The square is bustling with people and cafes and street performers playing instruments. The clock is interesting but was kind of a let down after being to Munich and seeing the clock there. You can climb the tower for a great view of the city. The cafes are really expensive but the ice cream was 1E a scoop.

Just off the old town square is a bar called the Black Angel Bar. If you want to see the most amazing pianist you have ever seen, then pop in here for a drink. This guy makes liberace look like he's knocking nails into wood. Absolutely brilliant.
