Great street market open from 9-6pm. Consists of baked goods, local good and crafts, souvenirs and fresh produce and flowers. Prices are cheap and can be a bargain to get Czech souvenirs compared to high price stores in tourist shops in other areas Close to the old town square along the outskirts and and new town.

I expected a local market where I can look around local stuff, which turned out not. However, you can buy cheap souvenir or gift for your coworkers, so stop by if you happen to pass by.

not many stalls and all selling same old cheap tat you can get anywhere around the world in a tourist destination. Also same tat that is sold all over Prague. Not worth the effort.

Selling all different kinds of souvenirs you can expect to get, along with some fresh fruits and vegetables. Worth a visit to pick up some souvenirs.

Not very inspiring selection of gifts that can be found for a similar price at many other outlets in central Prague.

A small market and uninteresting. It has very high prices. Its location is good, between the two major squares, but the market itself there is nothing to search for. It's not interesting.

If you're planning to get back home with loads of souvrnirs, this is the right place to get them. You can buy all sorts of mugs, ceramic plates, dolls, wooden toys, metal boxes, bags, paintings... There's also chocolate, fruits, Czech teas, and of course, oplatky (traditional Czech snack). The prices are reasonable, compared to ones in more popular areas of... More

A good place to shop souvenirs: key ring, puppet, plates, mug, etc. Found a scarf shop with good prices nearby. The shops received either local Krone cash or Euro money. Always enjoyed looking around for the stuffs there.

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
