We had Floria as a guide - very charming and fun! She briefly told us the history of beer on beer brewing and other interesting facts. Generally, we were disappointed from the tour, not because of our guide, but from the places visited, because the first bar we visited on the free tour, earlier that day, second one was U... More

My wife and I had a wonderful time with 6 other people and our guide. They picked us up from our hotel and we started walking and teasing beers in some very nice pubs where we were able to choose between 2 or 3 beers to sample. The beers are not micro-brewed, but are locally brewed Czeck beers. The guide... More

At first I was worried that we would only learn about beer. But it was so much more. Honza, our guide was very knowledgable and shared a lot of history and local culture with us. We enjoyed this tour immensely and would highly recommend it to our friends.

The Beer Experience (run by Sandemans) was inexpensive and a great way to learn the history of beer, see the city at night and meet other people. You visit three pubs in different locations in Prague, so also get a bit of a tour of Prague as you walk. At each pub, you get 3 full beers (different beer at... More

This was a good way to sample some of the local microbrews and taste beer that is different from the usual pilseners. The guide was very personable and it was a very pleasant way for a group of strangers to have some fun for about 90 minutes. Also you learned a little bit about Czech beer.

our guide, a student paid to go to pubs and drink with tourists was excellent. Helpful, knowledgeable and personable. The beer and pubs visited were also very good but for the price we paid we did expect more than 4 halves of beer.

I have taken 2 microbrewery tour in Prague, this one and another costing 1200czk. I would say this tour has a better c/p value. Thus if you are just curious about beer brewery and wanna give a try of it, this would be very very much enough for you and need not to take those more expensive tours

The tour guide was a laugh, however for what you pay not really worth it. Go inside two small breweries and end up in a night club (which was dead, loud and had stag night written all over it). Best part was getting your 'diploma'. However, was kinda good.

I did Sandemans Prague beer tour in May 2015 and I really enjoyed it. Though the guide's explenations were a bit tidious at times (I kept thinking the my husband, who is an amatuer brewer, would love it, but for me it went into a little to much technical detail), but once we all had a 0.5L of beer in... I was in Prague on a business trip by myself and didn't want to go drink beer alone. So I signed up for the tour, met some great people and discovered a few breweries with great beer. It was definitely worth it!

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
