Actually I booked several tours through Viator which included excursions with Gray Line. First of all, I won't book with Viator again and frankly I'd make sure it wasn't a Gray Line tour as well. The day trip to Vienna was horrible. This was a long day and I'd have to say, save your money and opt to spend a... More

We booked the "Full-Day Tour to Prague Castle and Vltava River Cruise with Lunch" via Viator for £92 for two. The smelly coach arrived 45 minutes late and after picking up from several other hotels,we had a 20 minute coach tour of Prague before being dropped off at the castle. This is where the coach disappeared and 6 hours of... More

Sadly a poor experience, the guide seemed to want to get it over with quickly. She seemed to have difficulty in walking which I of course symphatize with! But It is quite a wasre of time to sit us down at a Restaurant for nearly 45 minutes (of a 3 hour tour) and afterwards we were shoved out of the... More

Couldn't understand the tour guide and noise of bus so loud we couldn't hear the guide. Contacted Gray Line twice and still have not heard back from them. It's like they do not care. Wish I would never have booked this day tour. It was a waste of time and money.

We used the Gray Line Tour company twice in Prague. We received a discount on the 2nd tour as we had traveled with them the day before. One tour was the 3-hour tour of Prague Castle, and the other was the half-day tour to Kutna Hora. We were very pleased with both. The tour guides on both tours were very... More

Included lunch was awful- tiny salad portion,... More

For us it was the most disappointing experience in Prague. We get some Prague city cards (a simple fotocopied paper with some codes and some discounts) and they said that with it we could enter to a lot of places for free. It was false, because the codes didn't work anywhere... We went also to ask for a 25% discount... More

We decided to take a tour on Gray Line city tours. It was a great experience and I am happy to share our recommendation. The weather was very poor (rain/snow), but the tour was great. We were able to see the city in comfort. Our bus driver Peter picked us up at our hotel and then picked up our wonderful... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
