this is a curious one. We had an all day tour on with bus, on foot, a boat trip on the Vlatava and a three course lunch. We saw a lot of Prague and overall it should have been very good value. However, the tour guide was extremely brief and to the point, not really giving any opportunities for rapport,... More

We were collected from our hotel at 9:45 am, taken to the coach and set off for about an hour driving around the city. We then walked around the castle area where we had a very nice inclusive 3 course lunch. Then walked down to the river where we were taken for a short cruise. We then walked around the... More

We took a tour of Prague and wow, there was so much to see and learn. Tour was great, I definitely recommend it! My guide was Tania, she gave tons of information about the very interesting buildings and sights that you can see. Walking around is for sure better than a bus ride since you have more time to learn... More

Went on a bus/walk tour of Prague done by Gray Line with my 15 year old son. The tour was very informative and the tour guide Tania was excellent. Learned a lot about the city and the walking around the castle, old town, and Charles Bridge was more effective than riding around in a bus for the whole tour. Unlike... More

Our tour guide was Fabricio from Italy and was very knowledgeable. We went with two other couples and chose this tour because it was the only one that gave us a tour of the old mint too. Fabricio spoke in many languages but our group all understood English, so we were lucky. He showed us Prague and kept us entertained... More

We booked a one hour boat tour of Prague. Leaving from the Charles Bridge wharf we had a very pleasant evening voyage that allowed us to take some lovely night shots of the city. The boat tour includes an audio presentation in three languages which helped us to learn more about the city's history and key points of interest.

We were fortunate to have an all-day tour for two conducted by Petr Burka who is personable and a very knowledgeable English speaking tour guide as well as driver. The Nizbor glass factory tour took us back to an earlier age akin to the cottage industry where people worked in teams, generally come from the local area and worked in... More

Spent more time walking than on a bus, missed out loads of places, our tour guide named places but no history explanation, she's very grumpy didn't seems very enthusiastic. But the river cruise we had was very enjoyable and informative. That is recommended, the bus not recommended. I think u can get into the boat without the gray line bus... More

Took a tour with Gray line to Český Krumlov. Our bus picked us up on time at the hotel. The driver and tour guide Alice were freindly. The tour was tailored to our requests. Couldn't find a fault with this tour. Alice was very knowledgeable and didn't need a book or crib sheet. This tour was excellent and well worth... More

We bought the Grey Line Riverboat Package to include a welcome drink, lunch and musical entertainment. Only do the river cruise and nothing else. The food was terrible and the musical entertainment was a man playing an accordion. Obviously we had not researched this as there were few others on the boat with us. I enjoyed the cruise and as... Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
