Driver does not wait for you outside the airport exit. You must walk to the car rental agency and then they call him and it will take an hour or more for him to reach. Never will use them again. Booked from Expedia, beware!

On this tour we saw sights like the freeway, built during the soviet era, a dingy restaurant where the tour guide sat and drank vodka for twenty minutes and lastly we visited grungy street vendors. Do this tour if you hate yourself or loved ones, otherwise skip it and do the Mysterium tour which was absolutely fantastic.

We used this tour company for a day trip to Cesky Krumlov (reviewed separately). Our guide, Alice, was excellent & very kind & we found the small group very pleasant to be with. The coach was also very comfortable for what is quite a long journey. My daughter is working in Prague at present & she was so pleased she... More

We used Gray Line Prague to do two tours while we were in Prague, the Full-Day Sightseeing Tour with Cruise and Lunch, and the Tour of Terezin Concentration Camp Memorial. For the Full Day Prague Sightseeing tour, we were collected from our hotel around 9:30 am and then taken to the coach. The coach then drove around the lower part... More

used this tour company for a day trip to Vienna. The guide was simply awful - rude and unhelpful. We commenced tour at 8:30 and stopped for lunch at 5:30pm. However the last hour in Vienna was the best hour of the day as we had free time. I think it would have been better to catch the train so... More

I am not joking when I say I almost died on this trip. The driver almost crashed the mini bus... twice! We took the trip from Prague to Vienna, not knowing we'd be on a 5 hour death trip! (There and back!) On our way there he was swerving madly on the road (claiming he wasn't feeling well) then (about... More

I had used the Gray Line Tour company in other cities in America and have always been very happy with them. That is the reason why I picked this company in Prague, too. However, that was a big mistake. I think Prague Gray Line has many problems with tour guides. They need to train them to behave professionally. Our guide... More

We booked Gray line through Expedia for a transfer from Prague airport to our hotel and a day trip to Vienna in May Our flight was due to land at 2240 and we arrived into the arrivals hall at 2305. We were told somebody would be waiting. Of course nobody was there. We tried phoning there 24 hour number, but... More

Actually I booked several tours through Viator which included excursions with Gray Line. First of all, I won't book with Viator again and frankly I'd make sure it wasn't a Gray Line tour as well. The day trip to Vienna was horrible. This was a long day and I'd have to say, save your money and opt to spend a... More

We booked the "Full-Day Tour to Prague Castle and Vltava River Cruise with Lunch" via Viator for £92 for two. The smelly coach arrived 45 minutes late and after picking up from several other hotels,we had a 20 minute coach tour of Prague before being dropped off at the castle. This is where the coach disappeared and 6 hours of... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
