We had an amazing tour through the Castle of Prague with the tour guide Givi. He has great knowledge of the history of the place, which made the tour so interesting and he also has a very sharp sense of humor, which made the whole experience even better! I would definitely recommend Givi for other tours!

We were lucky enough to have Angela as our guide for an amazing tour, so interesting and an excellent guide - one of the best we had in Europe. Would highly recommend you take this tour to get to know Prague and get some ideas for the rest of the trip. My other tip for Prague - don't get in... More

We spent 2.5 hours today walking around Prague with our guide Givi. He was able to mix humor with history for a great time. Not to mention the tour was free. He was kind to the children and had no problem interacting with the adults. I highly recommend the tour and the tour guide. Tomorrow we do the Castle tour... More

My friends and I were only in town for a weekend but wanted to learn a little about the city, so we went on the free tour and it was amazing! Callum was our tour guide and he was os knowledgable about what was going on in Prague! He was very funny and was even a good sport when it... More

We did a walking tour of the city and a tour of Prague Castle the next day with our tour guide Givi ( spelling?) He was absolutely fantastic and so passionate about Czech history. His English was amazing and he took the time to speak to all of us and find out about the group. I would highly recommend these... More

Pistis did an amazing job of keeping us all together and telling great stories and anecdotes about Prague history and modern culture. He was energetic and excited, we even did the castle tour in the evening because of him!

Callum was a great tour guide - extremely informative about both the sites/history AND very funny. My kids were very unhappy before the tour and were dreading doing 2.5 hours. And they became even more concerned when they saw they were the only kids in our group of approx 25 people. But Callum was so amusing that they actually enjoyed... More

We had Pistis as our guide and found him funny, entertaining and informative - no mean feat when it's 38 degrees Celcius in sunny Prague. Having lived in the city for a couple of months a few years ago, I questioned whether it would be worth my while going on a walking tour of a city which I felt I... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
