We were taken on a segway tour for 2 hours by a very friendly tour guide. We were very impressed with her knowledge of the city and she told us some very interesting stories. Going on segways was great fun and a really easy way to get around Prague. Unfortunately we couldn't get that near to the castle because of... More

I called up to confirm my booking at 2.30pm, the tour was advertised on the wesbite as starting at 3pm. After a 15min taxi drive to get to their office, everything was closed. I called back and was told that the tour started at 2pm... Waste of time and money for me. Luckily, there are a couple of other tour... More

Before going into town, we checked the website of Tripadvisor and saw the positive reviews about the various segway tours, so we decided to go for it. When entering into town, you can completely swarmed by guys that are selling this to you (in summer it appears to be even worse). Nonetheless, we can highly recommend this. The area you... More

This was a great fun way to see the city and avoid having to contend with the physical exertion that the hills would have demanded, on foot.We covered quite a vast area in the two hours. Luckily it was a fine dry sunny day, although bitterly cold. The two hours was enough for me in the middle of winter. Our guide... More

The Segway tours were so much fun and highly recommended for a quick stroll around the city. Our tour guide Igor was very friendly and communicated very clearly with us, giving us a brief insight into the history and background of the city.

This tour was awesome! Our guide was named Philip, and he took us around all the sights on the side of the river with the castle on it. The streets that were pretty hilly walking were no problem on the Segways, and the machines were much easier to get used to than I initially expected. Beyond the sights that we... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
