As the heading says. The food wasn't anything spectacular, but it was also quite cheap. The show was nice and entertaining.

Good show, in a great setting. Obviously it's a bit touristy, but it's not expensive and a great way to pass an evening. The food was good and the beer very good.

We had drinks and were going to eat but we're annoyed by the number of small flies which were everywhere and we had to keep fishing out of our drinks. The venue was lovely and very quaint and the prices reasonable but the insects need dealing with.

We stumbled upon this unusual tavern after visiting the Castle. It was an experience. We just had beer and cheese and bread. It was all good. The tavern itself is dark and dangerous. A must-see!

THE best place to go in Prague! We booked an option which included a few courses of food, unlimited refills on beer (which they put on your table without you having to ask), a fantastic live show in front of your table which spanned around 3 hours, it only came to around £30 each! It's the most unique location I've... More

As many have said, this is authentic, fun, interesting, and exciting. Food was GREAT. I couldn't really see it very well, but it tasted like chargrilled chicken and was really tender. They have some good options for people who don't eat red meat, including trout. Prices are very reasonable. The servers are in character and really fun. None of it... More

A friend of mine insisted I experience this cool medieval tavern, and after a little google searching I found it. It really was a fun night. The entertainers were great, very funny and skilled. The food was great, definitely recommend the duck and the honey glazed ribs. They were absolutely HUGE! Washed it all down with a few pints of... More

Loved the ambiance- really old cave with lots of candles, skulls, and props from the mid evil times. Friendly, quick service, fabulous food, extremely entertaining without being cheesy. Entertainers ae funny and talented- very impressive show. Great for all ages. Highlight of our nightlife/dining experience in Prague. Don't miss it!!

So glad we came here. Luckily we prebooked as it was very busy. Excellent fun entertainment (we even had a little dance), sword fighting and fire acts. We had the ribs as previously recommended and so glad we did. Food was great and plentiful. We were in the very bottom of the tavern, but dont be put off by the... More

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighborhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
