First evening spent here. Perfectly friendly stuff, amazing show, incredibly good food. Best chicken in along time. Home made chocolate icecreme was to die for. Thumbs up!

A great nite out. Very atmospheric. Really felt as if we were back in medieval times. Food was ok. But the show and beer was fab. I highly recommend it.

One of the highlights of our trip were the few hours spent here - good 'medieval' food in massive portions, interesting decor and very entertaining show! Would highly recommend.

An awesome authentic tavern, really near the enterance of mala strana. We arrived and were seated on the far end of the tavern in a small room, which bummed us out a little, since we really wanted to see the show. But the performers do their best to provide everybody in the tavern with a nice time, so as soon... More

Was there with my girlfriend on a vacation, ordered the homemade beer and some side dish - the beer taste was awful and so is the side dish, all the place with some wierd smell. We asked to change the beer because we couldnt drink it. In the bill they billed us for 2 0.5l instead of 0.3l (that we... More

Five of us had a very fun evening here. Would certainly recommend visiting as a group as I think for a couple you'd get a bit bored, as the show isn't continuous. Our group was (naturally) the most noisy, so we got pulled up for the fire show and dancing, but you don't have to do this if you don't... More

Group of 6 of us reserved a table here on our first night in Prague, I had my reservations as suffer with a bit of claustrophobia, but I was okay, dined ( if you can call it that ) in the upstairs room which was very small and dark ( couldn't see what you were eating ) the food was... More

We went there for lunch on our second day in Prague since we had heard a lot about this place. Sadly, we were not allowed to sit downstairs as the server that day had a little attitude. For some random reason (maybe he just didnt like us) they let a load of other people downstairs to eat, but told us... More

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighborhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
