Very fun show! We loved the entertainment, and the food was good, as well. The fire show was impressive.

We called in here as part of a tour of the city. The food was very good, we had goulash soup followed by duck, red cabbage and bred dumplings which was very tasty indeed. The beer was very good as well, and the atmosphere was like an ancient tavern with serving wenches who were very helpful.

Visit this place for a true midieval experience. The staff is friendly and fun. The experience is unique & entertaining. The beer is great (they have a dark stout!) and we love their large stack of succulent ribs, perfectly prepared every time! Fire dancers, fire breathers, belly dancers & sword fighters keep you on the edge of your seats and... More

So, for experiences, visit this tavern. It is said that Mozart frequented this tavern. It is RICH in history and atmosphere. Candles light your way down the stairs. They have a great dark beer they brew themselves. The waitresses had great personality. I wish we could have stayed for the show. Next time I will definitely make reservations for it.

Best experience in Prague! Very good food (be prepared to use your hands! There was no cutlery in middle ages), all-you-can-drink draft beer and a medieval show that comes to your table. The skulls are real and you really feel in a medieval tavern.

After a long walk on a hot day we found this by accident , it's a great place either for food or a drink, a great atmosphere , only wish we could stay longer but it was our last day so missed out on it at night time !!

Really medieval atmosphere! Definitely recommend! Nice food, excellent beer, interesting show, good music and fun waitresses :) The most exciting experiment in Prague (of course if you like beer). The only bad thing I discovered: there is no fresh air in the basement (everythere are candles + fire show), so if you like more air you should sit upstairs. NB!... More

Firstly, book in advance if you want to come here! I went on Tues to book for Weds night and they were fully booked so got us in for the Thurs medieval show. The building is amazing and a bit like a labyrinth as the main part of the tavern/restaurant is down some winding stairs into the basement below. Small... More

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighborhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
