Really enthusiastic and friendly guide, had some cracking interludes to lighten the tour alongside some great historical knowledge. Would have liked more 'random factoids' along the way to keep some group interest but a tour well worth the morning. A great way to see lots of Prague in detail in a short time.

My boyfriend and I took 3 tours (free walking tour, kutna hora and castle) and had Katarina and Tatiana for guides. The free walking tour was great and Katarina was nice, knowleadgeble and very professional. We covered almost all the main attractions which allowed us to spare a lot of time. One of the best Sandemans tours I've done. Tim from the Hill was awesome, he knows everything about the city, has great stories to tell, and makes you laugh during the whole 3 hours of the tour. If you want to have a quick 360 view of Amsterdam, you cannot miss it.

The Sandeman tours were so great, that we ended up doing them in 3 cities, Amsterdam, Berlin and Prague. All were fantastic! Prague was the final tour of our Eurotrip and Pavel's local expertise really brought the city to life! Check out these tours, do them!!

We got to old town square sligtly late for a tour but one of the sandemans staff kindly told us to join on to "Kathryn's" tour. Kathryn had a quirky, dry sense of humour which fit well with ours. She was inciteful and genuine and her personal family anecdotes helped bring an endearing realness to the history involved. Extremely interesting... More

John Paul lead us through the top highlights of Prague with ease. At no point during the 3 hour tour did I feel like there was wasted time or energy - everything was entertaining and incredibly interesting. My wife and I HIGHLY recommend going with SANDEMANs New Prague Tours and believe that if you are lucky, you'll be placed under... More

The walking tour, lead by Ian, was absolutely fantastic. He gave lots of great information without it being too heavy. He was funny and gave great tips. I definitely reccommend the tour and next time I visit would love to do one of the other tours.

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
