Our tour guide was the crackin' Tatiana, who kept everyone engaged with her wit, humour, and all-around charming personality! Her knowledge of the city rivals the guides on paid tours, and she was just so approachable and happy to recommend things! My group had just arrived in Prague after a sleepless night and an early morning flight, but she managed... More

Great tour! I've lived in Prague for several months and never got to see the city in this way. Very interesting and thanks to our guide Jean Paul - also very very entertaining. He's wonderful and highly recommended!

we did the free walking tour with Chris as our guide and it was completely awesome. Wish we had done it on our first afternoon! Chris was knowledgable and engaging from moment one. We were able to get a thorough overview of all the historic sights plus recommendations for places to go back to and explore further plus any other... More

Martin's passion for his home country is evident in his extensive knowledge of history, architecture and the Czech people. Combined with his warmth, liveliness and soothing voice made for an enjoyable tour from a genuine local guide! Totally recommend it!

Great tours! We completed two tours with the company: the free tour (Pawel was our guide) and then we paid for the Castle tour with Tijo as our guide. Both of them were full of facts and jokes in an equal balance to keep us interested and entertained. Definitely recommend both of the tours, the castle tour is 100% worth... More

Tatiana was a Czech pocket rocket who made our tour one we will not forget. She entertained and informed us for the whole three hour tour and was readily available to answer questions and suggest areas to visit in the city which the tour didn't cover. A highly recommended experience.

We went on the free walking tour with Martin and it was fantastic. Today we headed for the concentration camp tour with Karel who is a local and had very in depth knowledge of what happened in Terezin. He guided us through the town and stopped off at different points to give us a succinct explanation of the site. Highly... More

Prague is made for a walking around; very compact with the river, bridges and castle as landmarks. That said, Michael gave a very entertaining and informative introduction to the city which he clearly has a passion for. Great kickstart on your first morning in town. Tip generously, the boy deserves it.

We had a great time joining the free walking tour that they offer in Prague. Our guide, Vivien, was absolutely great. It was worth every minute. Fizemos o guia em Praga e foi ótimo, recomendo muito.

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
