There are many Segway companies in Prague, but we chose this one based on Trip Advisor reviews. It was everything we read and more! Our guide Honza was articulate, entertaining, and knowledgeable. He provided excellent historical background and the trip itinerary was comprehensive. He was patient with the various range of skill levels in our group and was very friendly... More

Our Guide was Mara, who took us through the basics at the start in the cobbled streets around our hostel. Due to the high density of tourists we opted for the scenic parkway route. The Segways were in perfect working order, we were given helmets too. Mara was laid back, cool and patient, he gave us bits of information as... More

We had an amazing time with Hondza, he's such a credit to this company. I was a little hesitant at first to ride a segway, but thought what the hell, i should try it before judging it. Hondza was a great instructor, and i automatically felt comfortable. He was extremely knowledgeable, fun and was happy to go along with what... More

We (2 parents + 2 teenagers) took the 3h tour. For us (the parents) it took a few minutes to feel comfortable on the segway but once on the road it went fine, even on the more busy places in the town center and Charles' bridge. If it's up to the kids, there's no other possible way anymore to visit... More

Yesterday my partner and I took a three hour segway tour with these guys. It really is the best way to see Prague and the price is perfect. I didn't catch the name of one of the hosts that introduced the small group to handling the segways but he was a genuine, happy and friendly host. We then took off... More

We had so much fun trying this kind of vehicle. Now we are in love with Segway. Our nice guide Monica showed us a lot of interesting places, pity that we didn't reach la tour Eiffel but it seems that we had lack of time. What I understood from our tour- chezh people hate communists and the president. Riding tour... More

Thought we would get a three hour tour, but Rene gave us much more value with four superb hours of great fun and information. I'm a student of history, but must admit...I learned many, many new facts about Prague and the Holy Roman Empire. Although Brazilian by birth, this dude knows his stuff. Another thing -- my wife was a... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
