We originally went to Kutna Hora to see the ossuary, or bone yard, as it looked like such an unusual place, and it was. While in Kutna Hora we also visited St. Barbara's church and found this to be memorable with the outside being a beautiful spot for a photo op. more

If you're in Kutna Hora, this cathedral is well worth a quick visit. The large numbers of flying buttresses give it a unique look and you'll see some interesting statues and a former Jesuit College on your way to the entrance. This beautiful building is not a cathedral, but a church. The church is on the top of a hill, overlooking wooded land below, it is a very nice setting. The interior has some decoration, paintings and painted ceilings, confessionals, wood and stone carvings. There is no crypt, or if there is, it is not open to the public. This is... more

i am not a great lover of visiting churches, but I quite enjoyed this one. As you enter, you are given a guide-sheet detailing what is on view, which makes the experience much more worthwhile. Personally, I really enjoyed the peace of the Church grounds, and the nice views, a nice break from the crowds of Prague. more

Set atop a beautiful village just over an hour outside of Praque. The entire setting and structure is just breath taking. The Church is closed on Monday's however if Monday is your only option it is well worth the site and no crowds. One of the highlights of the trip.
