Not only is this a lovely town well worth a visit, we used it as a jumping off point to visit some other nearby castles and sights. Then we found the very well marked walking trails - signs start in the lower courtyard of the castle. Try the blue trail off through the forest. We went about 2 hours each... More

Maybe I had too high expectations but the town seemed too "touristic" if I may say; the feeling wasn't of those of a nice old European place but of something that was just made or prepared to attract visitors.

when i first arrived at the bus station (generally no people seen on that station itself), i was a little bit shocked as I saw nobody nearby that station. After a few minutes walk into the village, I was like WOW, beautiful buildings everywhere, so as the weather, cold breeze (early spring) and mild sunlight. Food was good, beer was... More

A beautiful picturesque village we visited when transitioning from Prague to Vienna. So glad I arranged to visit this quaint quiet gem. We arrived on a Saturday at dusk by Student Agency bus (a great inexpensive choice) and viewed the town by glittering lamplight. How beautiful. The town is small and I believe we covered all there is to see... More

I and my daughter had one night there . We woke up very early in the morning to take nice photos of the town. The town is well preserved like in old days and we got a lot of photos with nice backgrounds. We were tired climbing up to the top of the castle but found that it is worth... More

One of the best places that i ve ever seen! You can find the peace in this small town. Normally one day is enough to see everything in town, but you would want stay longer.

One relatively pleasant little place with lots of restaurants and souvenir shops. Service in the restaurant was very uncomfortable and it was very hard for them to remember what we ordered.

Did a one day tour of Cesky Krumlov from Prague with Best Tours. A long day but worth the uncomfortable bus ride - the whole town is magical. Stunning examples of Renaissance decorated houses, the view from the tower is magnificent, the castle tour is also very informative. Our tour guide took us around the whole town which was great... I visited Cesky Krumlov with my girlfriend on a private tour. We were amazed at how beautiful the town was and the structures built into the rock face. Its an amazing spot to see, all the old houses, the views, the castle and the old cobbled streets. The little town has a lot of charm. Its very easy to make... More

Everything there is magical. You take pictures of every corner you are... only wonderful images. And there are nice hotels, delicious restaurants... the castle is something amazing! I loved the 3 days I spent there!
