Great harbour views

Great place to capture the amazing harbour views. It is great that there are reserves like this dotted around Sydney Harbour for all to enjoy.

This was a fantastic location to watch the fireworks at New Year. We chose this spot as our accommodation was in North Sydney so it was on the right side of the bridge for us. We arrived at 10am and 'camped out' however people arrived much later in the day and still had an excellent view of the fireworks. The... More

Summer photos and New Year's Eve. It's busy, even at 6;00am and I know if it will be busier. Lovely place to pass the day waiting for the Big Bang

This area is a bonus for kiddies, joggers, locals and tourists who want to get up close to the harbour water. Just up the road is McMahon's Point Village - I call it a village because it does have the village atmosphere - keep walking and you are in Nth Sydney metropolis. So much to enjoy in McMahons Point though,... More

One of Sydney's prime locations, this is the perfect spot for a great view of the harbour bridge and opera house. Down the end of Blues Point Road you can pick up a coffee or lunch on your wall down or arrive by ferry and enjoy a picnic plus there's a good size park to entertain the kids.

Blues Point Reserve provides a beautiful, relaxing view of the city. We sat on one of the benches eating a pizza from the pizza shop up the road and just drank in the view. It was not a busy park and seemed to be mainly frequented by locals due to its somewhat secluded location on the lower north shore. It... More

Located at the end of Blue's Point road in North Sydney, this vantage point gives a clear view of the harbour, the opera house, luna park and the bridge. I love to watch the sunset here, the trains crossing the harbour bridge, and the ferries crossing the harbour, weaving their way through the sail boats. There is parking available but... More

From here, you can see the Harbour Bridge, the Opera House and all the boating activities on Sydney Harbour. You can find a spot on the grass for a picnic, whether it is during the day and especially at night. Without doubt, it is one of THE places where you can get a fantastic selfie with Australia's greatest landmarks.
