We spent a day and a half at this resort. We are a family of a 11-year old intermediate skier + a 5 year old brand new skier + an intermediate adult skier + a brand new adult skier. And all of us enjoyed every moment skiing. The 5-year old joined a ski lesson and it was fabulous! We thought... More

We were staying in another town as there isn't a ton of rentals with pets when we were looking. But woke up to the ocean and drove up to snow (how great is BC?) the mountain compared to Whistler is way smaller but has a ton of character and really easy markings for the ease of the runs. The day... More

Lots of different terrain and snow is usually great. Make sure you head to lunch early. The line gets long quickly.

Lots of diversity in runs and without the line ups! Love this mountain I just wish I could live closer to it!

Our family of five (two adults and children ages 9, 7, and 5) had a wonderful full day of tubing! We debated whether the youngest should have his own tube or not, but as he just squeaked past 42" with boots on we made the right decision to let him ride solo (he loved the independence). We also wondered if... More

PLEASE NOTE: I am a skier; I can’t give a review on snowboarding in this place as I don't have experience in that. The skiing is honestly, really good. For intermediates that is, most of the runs are blue or black. Beginners: There are good green runs. At the top. Originally, the beginner area consisted of a handle tow and... More

Thanks for sharing your experiences of Mount Washington. We're glad to hear they've been mostly positive ones, however we do hope you'll reconsider your review of our new beginner area. Our continued goal is to make the learning experience for beginner skiers and snowboarders one of the best in North America. As you noted, we removed all of the old... More

Mount Washington works for all levels of skiing / boarding. The terrain is varied, the lifts cover the mountain well, the snow this year (2015-2016) is deep and plentiful. Staff are great. The only complaint would be the archaic computer system that slows down every single interaction to buy tickets, rent gear, lessons, etc.

If you can't get to the very top on your own, forget about this place. Transportation is terrible. It's very badly organized, there is a complete lack of information, and the very little info that is out there, is very confusing. At the hotel you get one bus schedule, on the website - another one, and at the resort itself... More

I have to say that I way excited about my visit because I never experienced so much snow. On the other side, I was nervous because I never skied before. We checked the schedule for some lessons before we got there. (Tip #1: Always arrive as early as possible so you will have enough by 3pm, the chairlift closes after... More

We drove up to Mount Washington and skied over Christmas 2015 on a beautiful sunny day. There are also shuttles available. The Nordic trails were hip deep with snow, the trail was well groomed and the pine trees went on and on... Ravens lodge is pretty - all wood, big windows, espresso coffee and good, plain food. Cheeseburgers, salads, hot... More
