Beautiful beach full of beautiful people. Met some great characters on Pine Grove Beach. Definitely spent a majority of my vacay on that beach. Local hotdog stand serves fresh coconut and an interesting fully loaded hotdog, with chips, ground beef, onions, sauerkraut, and cheese - delicious!

Walk to Sandra's Point for some local flavor. Food and drinks are excellent with exceptional service.

We stayed at the Intercontinental and was able to just walk right out on the beach from the pool. The beach is nice and the water is warm. It was comparable to beaches in Florida. The sand was soft and water is blue. There was some seaweed during our stau but they do a good job cleaning the beaches every... More

I would highly Bring waters, there are some vendors but the beach is mostly for hotel guest as it appears each hotel has their own part of the beach....We stayed at embassy suites so we got chairs, towels, and umbrellas for free when we got there...dont forget you have to tip the beach guy too

Near hotels, restaurants and fast food restaurants. Easy stroll from near by hotels and ten minutes drive fro Condado area. In Puerto Rico all beaches are public so the access is not limited.

The beach has two hotels facing the beach so the beach is usually very well cleaned. Nice beach for families.

I rented a beach front condo in Isla Verde. The beach was very clean. I felt safe at all times. And if you walk to the end of the beach by the old san juan hotel you find a rental stand for water sports who offer banana boating, parasailing and jet skies. Get there early to set up a time... More

You do not have to go far away from Isla Verde to get a feeling of being "out there" by visiting Pinones, a series of Pine and Palm beaches just east of San Juan and its surroundings. You will encounter all of the features any remote beach gives you, with soft sand, rolling surf, various shades of green, blue, and... More

Pristine sand, a bit of a breeze, calm and warm water all adds up to a great day. These beaches are no where near as crowded as those at the Condado.
