Actually, it would be great to visit on a sunny day too. We were left to wander around and help ourselves to wine tasters, which were very good, and visit the museum of wine. What a lovely place! We particularly liked the central courtyard with scented plants - a sensory experience in itself, even without the wine tasting. Come to... More

Enter a little courtyard, given a tiny plastic shot cup. Then 4 taps in a wall with no name over each tap to let you know what wine is there. 4 kegs of sherry, go have a little drink. Hmmmmmm. Was free entry as part of a tour. I would have been annoyed to pay entry for this....

The most fantastic place during my way in Portugal and Spain. Lovely place, beautiful small town Ronda. Very old wine cellar with a wine tasting. For 5 EUR you can taste red and white wine, or Sierras de Malaga. Very nice and pleasant staff. Amazing place for rest. I spent there more than 1 hour. I hope I will come... More

After a long drive to Ronda we found this great little museum by chance, thinking it was one of the many tourist shops. An entrance fee of 5 euros was great value just for the arcitecture and the history. To have 6 different wines to taste for free was a bonus. Not a true wine tasting but free wine can't... More

We visited as part of a tour group, so entrance was included, and it was the part of the tour I was looking forward to most. You are given a plastic glass, and told to help yourself, bit there is no information on the grape varieties, or much else. The setting is OK, and they brought out plates of crisps,... More

This was the worse wine tasting experience i has had. No structure to the tasting just taps on a wall no description or explanation to how or where wine was made. Left feeling very disappointed.

The wine drinking area with snacks was nicely laid out - the white wine on the tables was Muscatel and to say tap into the walls for the red wine was true. The red wine to me was a little stronger than the white and we enjoyed them both. Wel worth a visit, to drink the wines.

went here as part of a tour of the old town whilst on a day trip with Thomsons. Entry included with cost of trip. You are given a small plastic cup & can help yourself to as much wine as you like, from taps in the wall, similar to outdoor water tap in the garden. They also give out crips... More

Despite the name, there is little reason to come to the Museo del Vino de Ronda for the museum. For €12/person, you have what turns out to be an almost all-you-can-drink of 6 different wines and "tastings" of three more. The process is relatively simple: you enter into what looks like a gift shop and make the selection of what... More

The museum gives you a glass and lets you pour from the barrels for three wines and four kinds of sherry and then gives you a full glass of two reds and a white from the local winery which weren't bad. There is nobody monitoring your wine drinking from the barrels- you are free to take what you like and... More
