We got there during the happening "Ronda Romantica", where the park was full of people dressed up as bandoleros, cooking and serving food and drinks, selling artesans' crafts, jewellery and leather. Also, we visited a temporary museum of the Guardia Civil, and walked through the old city via the bridge (careful if you suffer from vertigo, it's scary). In the... More

If you are in Ronda for longer than half a day, taking a stroll through the old town and meander through the streets is a great passing time. Ronda is not very big and it's not the most impressive town, but it's more than nice.

When you visit Ronda, you must take time to experience both sides of the city. The old part here features ancient architecture and quiet, cobblestone streets perfect for a day trip in he Seville/Costa del Sol area.

There are many white villages on the costa del sol, this is our best so far. We dropped into the tourist centre, with map in hand we preceded on our Ronda adventure. Once you cross the bridge, its like going back in time, there is so much to see. The walls and the gates of Ronda were impressive, took a... More

Ronda is split into two halves by the El Tajo gorge. On the southern side of the gorge which is the "old town" lies La Ciudad. La Ciudad is a relatively small area of houses with cobblestone streets. Many of the houses and grand buildings have been turned into up market restaurants and tapa's bars. The views from the terraces... More

On the southern side of the Puente Nuevo is La Ciudad. Its cobbled streets contain a mix of whitewashed houses and grand Renaissance mansions. It was the old Moorish market area and, historically, the most important part of Ronda. There are numerous historical buildings and fine museums here, so let's start with the Convent of Santo Domingo since it is... More

We took a weekend drive to Ronda this week. We drove up the 366 from Coin to Ronda. A beautiful drive through stunning scenery and lovely inland villages which took us just over 80 minutes at a leisurely pace. Ronda proved to be all we had expected and more stunning views and architecture truly lovely. The town itself has a... More

Terrible the flamenco show at circulo de artistas. Very low quality in terms of music and dance. Snow has been long just 45 min (price paid 15 €). Dress were poor and old. Dancers are sometimes out of compas...

We visited a few cities in Spain. Ronda was my favorite. The scenic vistas are out of this world. We took a bus from Seville to Ronda and is was so worth it. It was only a day trip, but I enjoyed so very much. I would love to go back and stay for a few days. Don't miss this... More

Ronda is such a lovely place hidden in Spain. It is not a big place, but the monuments are worth the trip there, and even the experience of the trip itself. The road from Marbella to Ronda is absolutely breathtaking. If you go there, be sure to eat in one of the restaurants close to the bridge, the food is... More
